Interested to know for steep inclines and declines mix of both gravel and some bitumen Tambora or Path? Difference on frame types for that

Path X would be a better bike if you plan to spend half of your time on the road as it is more hybrid in nature. Tambora is designed more as a dedicated gravel bike.

What is this flip chips mechanically what do they do. And is tambora a good choice if im lookin for a road bike? Can I just change tires to skinnier tires?

The flip chip allows you to change the bikes geometry on the fly! You could certainly use it as an all-road application if you chose to. The bike would still perform quite well on the street.

For any bike model it always makes more sense to get the next model up IF the budget allows. Bike manufacturers will always score components at better rates than a consumer, so the value of buying a complete bike is always higher than if you built it yourself. Hope this makes sense!
