Sponsorship works! I'm in the market for a gravel bike and I'm now going to look at those Ari bikes. I'm no stranger to direct to consumer bike buying having bought a couple of Canyons. This looks like a much more personalized experience. You've earned your paychecks!

The Shafer is badass. Helped build them up for some local folks (with the previous Fezzari paint schemes). Light, comfortable, good tire clearance, and one of the few gravel bikes you can mullet with the AXS Transmission drivetrain for wider range gearing.

Dang, Ian did a phenomenal job describing all those details. Could tell he was trying to not go into too much detail, and keep it understandable for the “average” person. Nice job, Ian!

Ari has been on the rader for a while now. Well, before Syd and Macky and the name change. I dig their business model, and every time I learn more about it and what they are trying to give the customer, I get even more interested. Bike companies gotta have soul and not just be a transaction, IMO. Plus everything I've seen these bikes look like they can play.

Welcome to utah. Ian is awesome. We got to meet him less than 2 years ago at a nica race. Talked about the bikes and what we could build. Shortly after that we got our kid his new fezzari signal peak to ride and race with. It's been a great bike.

I have purchased 4 bikes from Fezzari/Ari. On my full suspension bike there was nothing I could just to make it better. Sag, hi/low compression, rebound, on the front and rear were all perfect.

Hey SId and Macky. Thank you for the tour through the ARI facility, it was great. I have wanted an ARI since you two received your ARI XC bicycles and saw that orange color. I am waiting for an ARI Nebo Peak Élite eMTB to arrive at end of this month. I really liked the help of the Customer Success team.

I have two Fezzari, um, Ari bikes, and for me the main selling points were value, and especially the setup and sizing process. Both of them arrived perfectly set up, I did not have to think about or change anything. Good service too, there was some back and forth describing what I was looking for and they were super accommodating.

I'm a Fezzari/ARI owner and totally love the brand, bike and order process. Great video showing the behind the scene process of what goes into ordering, building up and eventual delivery of an ARI bike. Considering the purchase of a new road bike to replace my aging Specialized Roubaix and an ARI is definitely on my short list. Great job Syd and Macky and hope you have a great 2024 race season on you ARI's

This was a fabulous video. Ari presented themselves very well. I think their “fit process” and customer hand holding on a big part of their “value-add”. Until this video, that was not as apparent to me. Videos like this certainly help get the word out!

Isn't Ari / Fezzari is in Layton, Ut? Stopped by on my to way to Montana and they treated my like family. This was nice since my son-in-law in Southern California and college best friend in Montana are both riding Ari / Fezzari Delano MTBs after checking mine out. Customer service and quality of ride for the cost is sooo worth buying an Ari. Looking forward to your thoughts on the gravel bike. Thought about one when I stopped by but they didn't have my size. N+1 Signal or Shafer? Hummm

We were both so impressed by this look into how Ari works. Happy you both have such a great team around you! I may be in the market for my first e bike...I'm currently injured and went back to watch Syd's nerve injury vids yesterday before you posted this. I really wanted to see if they'd help me feel like I actually deserve an e bike and if it will make a difference to my recovery and maybe prevent the mental health spiral that comes with the whole deal. Do you know if Ari ships to Canada? We're in BC.
@sydandmacky8 ай бұрын
I'm not sure if they ship to Canada, but we'd definitely recommend the Nebo Peak. It's light enough to feel pretty close to an acoustic bike and you can work as hard as you want or don't want! E-bikes I'm general are awesome for when you're injured (and for when you aren't injured 😜)

Never ever / positively / cut down the steerer on any fork. Fill it with headset stackers until your know what fits or as you get older you can adjust accordingly . And for bike packers you can use the height above the stem to wrap tie downs /hold the bike up when not in use etc etc.

Its curious how much a name change can affect things. I'd known about Fezzari for awhile, seen the ads, seen pictures and the occasional review commentary. But it just seemed... cheesy. Then the change to Ari. Even before knowing you were working with them, there was just something that was more... interesting, and more solid, about the new name. I am rather built out at the moment, three new bikes in three years, but... gonna go look at Ari stuff anyway. Besides, I don't have a fatbike yet.

What exactly happened to Fezzari bikes? Was the company boight out by another company or was it a company makeover. The current name is the last part of the original name, and so I'm not sure what happened. I don't think the change is bad.

I am not a fan of direct to consumer so yes I love all bicycles but when we all lose something, and we are losing something later it will be too late to wish we had bike shops..
@barrowsworm12264 ай бұрын
Respectfully, I would suggest that your point of view is a bit myopic. There will always be a place for bike shops, and there is no reason that both direct to consumer brands, and dealer sold brands cannot both thrive. These two models serve different types of customers: for those who appreciate, or need, the personal touch and expertise of a bike shop, and are willing to pay a premium for that experience, bike shops are perfect. For those who appreciate the value added by direct to consumer brands, and are capable of doing some mechanical work themselves, as well as researching and understanding exactly what they want in a bike, the direct to consumer sales model is appropriate.
