Renowned for its inflight experience within Asia, Cathay Pacific (國泰航空) has made a comeback after the pandemic by re-establishing old routes - including several lucrative ones to the United States and Canada.
On a recent trip back from North America, I had the opportunity to try their long-haul cabin service on their Airbus A350-1000 on a flight from Chicago.

While I met some happy flight attendants recently on a Cathay flight, I heard that the work environment at Cathay has become toxic. Many people quitting. Also, there seems to be no way to opt out of facial recognition at US airports for non-US citizens which is horrible.
