Is Cathay Pacific STILL GOOD? | Manila to Tokyo-Narita via Hong Kong Economy | Marhaba Lounge Tour

That's the only airline I can prefer going to Hong Kong then catch a connecting flight via Scandinavian Airlines or Finnair on my travels to the Nordic countries, the sad reality is there's no direct flights between Europe and the Philippines since European Airlines pulled out their direct service to Manila. I used to fly with Lufthansa and Air France during my past travels to Europe, many of my German friends who want to travel to Philippines but it's absolutely burdensome still need to transfer to another airport and it's too costly, no wonder most European tourists prefer Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore rather than the Philippines. Hopefully change will come someday.

I might fly this route this Sakura season. Direct flights from Manila to Tokyo are getting expensive.

The price for a round trip is cheap compared to ANA or JAL. The HK stopover is the only catch but I think its worth it. Will definitely consider this in my next decision

Definitely! Cathay Pacific offers great prices compared to ANA or JAL for round trips. Although the Hong Kong stopover might be a drawback, I believe it's worth it. The catering from Japan is better too - I'll be posting my flight review for that soon!
