Moar Direct Strike please. Fun Blizzombie story: I wanted to play DS so I tried to launch WC3 which I played last in September. Wouldn't launch. I thought it might be because I never bought Reforged. Begrudgingly I gave Blizzombie 30 hard-earned eurobucks. Still doesn't work. Apparently their last patch just messed up MacOS WC3. Nothing's being done about it so far.

basically i havnt played warcraft 3 in 10 over years, caught a couple of clips of Grubby playing direct strike - installed back again and now been having so much fun with Direct Strike - keep the series coming!

by buying a gold mine, you you will have amassed 240 gold extra by minute 16. thats 1 unit extra vs 9 rounds where u were missing a unit. essentially the investment doesn't pay off for 16 minutes. that sounds bad

Get warden whenever possible, fan of knives do a ton and she blinks backwards to get healed and gain more xp

Correct me if I'm wrong A mine cost 300 gold and increases income by 10 every 20 seconds, or 1 every 2 second It takes 600 seconds for it to just pay for itself and start actually being a net positive for your army This match lasted for 17 minutes, or 1020 seconds So the first 2 mines actually start being a net positive a bit after half the way into the match But the third one was useless Actually I expected that to be even more alarming but this is fine Maybe it's still worth it to forget about mine entirely and focus on guaranteeing that you get the extra income in their side of the map and that you get some extra EXP though

Life drain is also busted. You basically are guaranteed to win the early 1v1s unless they buy a fire orb.

I think Blood Mage is the strongest hero in the mode. Flame Strike is absurd when armies get huge and Banish at high ranks really disrupts enemy heroes. Siphon should be skipped entirely, instead grab the stats and a Pipe of Brilliance. Super fun game mode!

Have you ever played Survival Chaos? If you're enjoying this I feel you'd probably love SC. Very similar concept, 4 way ffa with 3 lanes though and like 20ish different races with unique units/upgrades/heros and building abilities

True, also his Necromancers didn't get the spotlight, cause he didn't auto-click his Skeletons. Top that with a Archmage with Brilliance and Windchimes, bruh could have an unstoppable army.

Of course life drain gets better with items. Some mana is good but life drain works the best with armor. More armor means more effective health gained!

The ranged heroes in this mode seem in general so much better then melee just from the fact that they can survive longer to get the XP (and the higher chance to stack later on), so often the melee heroes end up underleveled vs the people who got ranged (or same level, despite winning, just cause the hero dies so early); getting their ult later or even never (and w3 isn't balanced around "ranged have weaker ults"), not to mention they often need a few hp items/upgrades just to last longer, an extra cost ranged ones don't need to pay Like in this game pandas vs 3 ranged (their heroes even triple stacked fairly early), then dark ranger game, or 1-2 days ago with the Rexar game, then the Fire Lord one soon after where it was so much easier (tbf, incinerate seems straight up OP here) Don't really see how they'd fix it beside heroes getting XP even if dead, if your army is there (maybe for melee only?)

I'd argue Pit Lord is the strongest hero by quite a margin due to cleave absolutely slaughtering armies (once you get some items)

Grubby plays so greedy, i don't think he realize that getting extra mines early gives the opponents extra gold by winning the early rounds. Selling off units that he builds for 75% back is also making things worse.

@@zachariastsampasidis8880 starfall maybe, tranq defo no lol, your units get nuked before it even does anything, big bad is only good if you actually manually use that ult. also it can cause more harm than good, have lost games cuz of a noobish teammate voodoing at the base and enemy minions just focus the base cause of that.
