Krylon is one f the worst clear coats on the planet. I can usually scratch it off with my fingernail.

After you hydrodip do you have to prep before spraying clear?like wipe to remove any chemicals with a preprep or wax remover or will it damage hydrodip?

Hey! If I hydro dip aluminium, can I then get it powder coated with a high gloss clear polyester? Or will the hydro dip change colours or burn? 🤷‍♂️ Thanks 🙏

Can I clear a previous hydro dipped without sanding the part

I would not, it needs to be re done and clear coated within the appropriate time.

I use a deep clear storage tote from Home Depot. I used some cheap curtain rods to make dividers that I cross divide with masking tape for smaller dips.

Best thing to do it build one. There is a ton of videos on youtube of people that have built diy tanks out of rubbermaid totes, IBC tanks and all sorts of stuff. Find an idea you like and go for it.

spray-max 2k clear its rather expensive for an aerosol can BUT its the best on the market
