5:45 i've been painting things like this for a while and I'm sure you find it easy - you're skilled at this and clearly done it. but i've learned over the years this is not as easy as you make it look. like any artists, it comes a lot more natural through practice but you have far molre skill than most. ppl shouldn't expect to be able to even do the splotching part this well. not even close.

Does this work for porta pottys when applying stickers? I'm currently using low surface energy stickers with hitak. They were installed by a 3rd party who did not install correctly by any means.

Noticed that when you were trying to sell us on your way of dipping the subtle away you gently creased the film diagonally and slowly placed it in the tank. Something you didn’t do on the taped film, you just threw it in the tank😂

Everyone I’ve seen puts tape on both sides of the film to help hold it in place.

The reason some roll up more than others is due to how tight they are rolled up for storage. Your mable is in a very large roll and your cryptech is so tightly rolled. The material will eventually get used to being in that state. Ive fixed this issue by flattening out the sheet i want to dip with and letting it set flat for about 30-40 mins before hitting the water.

I know this is a couple years old, I'm having a helluva problem with my film curling/rolling up along the sides. It's taking off about 2 inches on each side. Can you please tell me what is causing this? Many thanks.

What about something like a dupli color 1k clear coat

No sorry. An 18 month dipping window is ridiculous. If you don't have 2 continuous hours to work on a project do it the next day. I get great results with duplicolor from the auto parts store. If ya know the limitations than you can't screw it up. $9.00 for duplicolor to $18.00 for OHW is a huge difference especially if your buying multiple cans.

Well I hydro dipped parts 10 years ago, I used paint I had in the barn. Any spray paint. Those parts still look as good as the day I Hydro dipped them.
