Cloud gaming works flawlessly on my Samsung Frame. It actually got me to cancel my PS+ and only keep GP Ultimate. I have fiber optic interwebs though, so that might be the defining factor. I think we're at the 2010 timepoint where cable internet began is making Netflix possible. Consoles will be obsolete in the next 5 years. Steam Deck will be king.

They are certainly getting away from the console. They are already getting smoked by PlayStation, that will only multiply once all their games are on PlayStation. There's no point in having an Xbox anymore

Streaming cannot replace consoles. They have a different market. Even PC has different market with consoles. 1000km of cables cannot beat the speed of 1 meter of cable. Input lag will be crazy. Even if the streaming is succeed, maybe the XBOX streaming is not make a good sales. Individual game publisher will make their own streaming services. XBOX streaming is a way to kill their own services. They dig their own grave. This also can happen to PS streaming.

Meh consoles are irrelevant, and I am guessing this next gen will be the last. This is the beginning of the end for console gaming inmho. Microsoft says"Ok Sony want to brag about sales we will move forward and take the little plastic box out of the equation" I can see other companies being able to make consoles just like PC hardware. I won't buy the next PS5 because they will put most of their games on the PC. PC gamers have so many games we can wait for Sony games and the Xbox games but Xbox is pretty much all day and date on PC.
