I think buddy knows who TC Taylor is and where he cane from. He may be playing the game a lil but I really do think he knows that this team has more to offer and prove.

I think that comment was more a shot at Deion rather than mind games for TC. I believe that Buddy Pugh felt disrespected by Prime because Prime didn’t come to any of the pressers leading up to the game. If you look at the end of the game Buddy barely looked CP in the eye when he shook his hand.

He knows the game because he has been coaching for 20 years TC Taylor is building JSU from the inside-out, and that starts in trenches

I'm sure that JSU was expecting to win the 2021 game since they were 11-1 and SCSU was 6-5 coming in. However, I don't think they went into the contest thinking that SCSU would just lay down. The tigers scored first, which wasn't a sign that they were taking the bulldogs lightly. If they were over confident or cocky, as many have alleged, all of that should have went away after SCSU went up 17-7. If not then, certainly 24-7. That coaching staff had years of NFL and college experience as players and coaches. They Knew better than to underestimate an opponent. The truth of the matter is, the tigers were simply out coached. Coach Pough took advantage of an anemic o-line and his defense simply over powered them. Additionally, he neutralized James Houston with double teams and other schemes. It was a mere exercise of football 101.

How about he is making sure his team isn't taking JSU for granted. He knows his own players better than the ones in Jackson, MS.

After 20+ years, I doubt he doesn’t take anyone for granted. IMO he’s 50/50 telling truth & playing cat/mouse.

Probably a little coachspeak, but Coach knew going into the CB that his d-line would have an advantage. I don’t think anyone believes the ‘21 JSU o-line is better than this one.

Why wouldn't anyone believe that the 21 o-line is better than this one that hasn't even played a game yet? After all, the 99%ers believe that this 0-0 coaching staff is better than the 2021 and 2022 staff that had 52 years of NFL experience, more FBS experience and went undefeated both years in the SWAC. Some of them even believe that if a 165 pound CB gains 10-15 pounds, "he has lost quickness needed to defend the short routes." *And I've got receipts to prove it!* † 😂 🐑🐑

@@Mr..G The people that believe the ‘21 line is better probably spend a lot of time with little kids. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Entering their rookie season, which HC had more collegiate wins- ‘21 or ‘23? Entering their rookie season, which HC had been a part of a program that went undefeated in an FCS conference? Sidebar- with all that experience in ‘21, who did the rookie HC turn to as OC during the season? 🤔 Who needs receipts when you have the 165lb corner as proof? I wonder if anyone thinks that guy will be successful. If only there was some type of accolade to reference…😉 And I hope he gets his bench press numbers up, the league may not take him if he doesn’t.🤣 More free entertainment please😎

@@aj71169 I don't know who the 99 percenters spend their time with, nor do I care, but because you have firsthand insider information, I will certainly take your word for it. However, you don't have to convince me or anyone else that the 0-0 rookie staff is better than the proven 8-0 2021 staff. As long as it makes sense to you, is all that matters, little buddy. But be that as it may, you 99 percenters need to understand that you aren't comparing a 2023 rookie HC to a 2021 rookie HC; you are comparing a 2023 rookie HC to a 2021 *championship HC,* and a 2022 *repeat championshio HC.* Additionally, the answer to your OC trivia question is the same person that was demoted to TE coach a few games later prompting the HC to give up and hire Bartolone for 2022. As usual, you 99 percenters don't keep up with current events since the corner no longer weighs 165 lbs. Unlike 99 percenters, he knows that bench press does matter. Likewise, we all know your philosophy - *"If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bulljunk!"* And I've got receipts to prove it - *One solo tackle and two assisted tackles is over achieving.* 🐑🐑

That's coming from emotion for sure. lol I realize the hate for Deion is real, but the quality of that staff got them promoted to FBS P5. At some point you need to let go bruh. frfr 🐅

I don’t think he is playing mind games at all. I believe he’s serious. Even though he was talking about JSU I don’t think that statement was for anybody affiliated w/ JSU. It was more so for his staff, team, and friends to let them know how serious they need to take their preparation for the game.

The MEAC schools have always believed in building the trenches first, and TC Taylor knows that their D-lines,offensive lines have been bigger than the swac TC Taylor is changing that right ✅️ 😳 now at JSU.
