I don’t think that we’ll see an LCK dominance the same way as the previous 2013-2017 era where LCK teams can only lose to each other. But Damwon can revolutionise the league and maybe we’ll see more teams play towards how they approach the game. Similarly to how all Korean teams mimic Samsung White in the years after 2014.

Good win for DWG because of their micro and macro dominance all tournament long. I think LPL has a lot of young talent to look forward to seeing get confident on the international stage. DRX and GEN got stomped tbh I think we need another year to say LCK back.

DRX could have beaten G2. DRX was way better than GenG. I do believe the top 5 LPL teams might be slightly better than the top 5 LCK teams.

I think it’s unfair to say DRX got stomped. They were against DWG who literally stomped everyone else. Even the games DWG lost against G2 and Suning could have gone either way. It’s just unfortunate that DRX got DWG as their opponent.

DWG>SN>LCK>LPL>ETC Western guys, if you want to split DWG from LCK, do the same for SN from lpl. tbh, tes and jdg at the tournament suck. lpls adc god, jackielove was a disaster. Lpls 2nd mid yagao was not solid. In tournament, tes, jdg, g2, fnc, drx are similar level. The only extraordinary strong team is DWG Look at the espn 2020 worlds power rank again, before groupstage version. See the rank of nuguri, beryle, ghost. Western guys tends to overlook lpl, underestimate lck. Even after the worlds, you guys still underestimate lck. DWG is a outlier of lck blah blah blah. 😆 2021 worlds final will be lck civil war. Of course, evey single players of GENG showed stupid play, but DRX did well, except deft. He's like jakielove in tournament. I mean. Lpl is not dominant league. Open your eyes.

FACT: 2013~2020, top and mid worlds winners are all korean. Without korean laners, every team lost at the final. Its a history, statistics (even lpl team. 18ig theshy rookie, 19fpx gimgoon doinb) And these days, korean prominent players dont prefer lpl. (Contract, diseases, etc) Without korean laners, lpl will go down. Lpl is not strong, just koreans are strong. thats all.

people tend to overreact too much, especially with western players and audience, it happened when NA reach far with c9 when FNC reach finals and again when G2 did it the next year... the LPL is not gonna bow down so easily to the LCK, they will fix the issues they had and above all have the players and money to do so.

Lpls solution is always buying korean laners 😆 but sadly, best korean players dont like china anymore.(contract issue, covid issue, ...) So, good luck with that.
