KITTEN MAYZ, "gay" is not an offensive word. See part 2 of the video, they say "gay" and there is nothing wrong with that. One of my best friends is gay and he doesn't mind being called gay... I mean that is like me being offended for being called heterosexual :D I even call him my gay husband :D

I met my husband at work but we are very private about our relationship, at work. We didn't fuel the company gossip and never shared private things. It's important to keep things professional at work so we never held hands or eluded to the fact that we were dating or even now to the fact the we are married although everyone knows already. I'd also like to add that neither of us ever dated someone from work before.

In 2016 I was working at a lighting store as one of the sales cashiers. My current boyfriend as of present day was working in the warehouse. At the time, we were both dating other people. When we first met, I was originally the "new girl" at work - and when we were introduced, I found out that he was going to be the "new guy" at the store - I remember telling him, "oh so you're the new guy ?? so I'm no longer the new girl ! That's awesome !" lol. He still tells me that day when we met, that I caught his eye - but lol I never looked at him that way. From then on out, we never really spoke at work a lot as often, we had plenty of small talks from here and there. We had to keep it super professional because dating was a no no rule at our workplace. It was a rule that was embedded in paperwork - so if you were to date someone, one of you would have to be terminated. He left the lighting store a few months later, and I never had him on any type of social media and I thought I would see him again. About a year later, we were both single and reconnected through a mutual work friend. Fast forward to present day, and we both don't work at that lighting store anymore. We actually went back to visit recently and joked about how he left because we wanted to be together LOL. Our relationship is wonderful and was totally unexpected and we cannot be more happier. I like telling people how he's the light of my life because we met in a lighting store :).

I agree so much with what you are saying. My boyfriend and I met at work and we were on a break for a bit but still had to work together in the same team but we never allowed our work relationship and love relationship to mix. When we were on a break, we still worked great as a team. You have to be mature and not mix things.

- My husband and I met at work right after high school. I used to flirt with him all the time, and our manager at the time always managed to put us together in working situations, which of coarse was a plus for me. We hung out a few times outside of work, but we ended up loosing touch with each other after I quit that job. Two years later I found him again. Long story short, almost 8 years later, we're married with two beautiful children and we've been together almost 11 years. So, I don't see anything wrong with dating in the workplace, because love can be found anywhere. 😍😍

Listen to your instincts if you do not want to date anyone at work do not let them sway you. There are very few stories I have heard which worked out but from my current viewpoint all folks do at work is screw one and move on to the next. This is one of the reasons for drama at work: gossip, incomplete work etc. However, when you are not involved it makes interesting TV for a boring work day!

I met my boyfriend of 4 years at my job. I loved it. There was something so sexy about being a secret and knowing no one knows but just you two. My boyfriend and I used to have code words. Like we’d say the weather is nice to today and that meant I love you and then to say I love you too babe would be like yeah weather is very great. Or if the weather is bad it’d just be the weather s bad and of course I knew what he meant. Lol. We also use to slip each other cute lil notes and stuff. Idk i loved it. I recommend it only if you guys can be mature about it. I used to get hit on ALOT and my bf was always professional and handled it very well but at the end f the night when we’d hangout outside of work he’d be like yeah it’s hard to not say anything so only do it if you aren’t the jealous type.

I think one of the positive sides of him still being around is that at some point you would probably be able to talk to each other as friends or at least as exes who do not hate each other. I appreciate it is difficult but look at it in a positive way, so it doesn't annoy you :)

But if I met someone at work that really turned my head and there seemed to be a connection, I'd rather see if there is something there then hear they all of a sudden met someone else so I may never know. I also know that most of the guys I'm interested in are mature enough that if things didn't work out, we would both be mature enough to handle it.

Jasmine Calwell she was on a show called Roommates. It was out in 2009. So it didn't get picked up. All the other shows were established. She was also on a show called strong medicine and there was a male nurse on that show however that show had already been established for a couple years so they wouldn't had to worry about if the show got picked up

I'm so glad they did this because one of my core values is never date a coworker and it has nothing to do with ppl who do but for me the risk is too big and its apart of my professional values as well that's just me. But I have friend whose found love and married coworkers

it’s so tempting to date people from work but i am 100% against it. it’s not worth the possible misery. what if he’s just not that great as a coworker and people start associating you two together? what if you guys break up? how do you handle working 40 hours a week with someone you don’t like anymore. disaster.

My boyfriend and I started dating maybe three into me getting my job. (It was my first job) I’m 18 and he was 20 almost 21 and it’s funny because I told myself that dating a coworker was never going to thing for me, but it’s actually better for us because we know each other schedule and when we gossip we know who we are talking about. We’re about to go 6 months dating and he’s the love of my life.

Worked out for me and my Bae. We lightly dated in the beginning (going out for drinks, talking for hours on the phone), we kept it on the HUSH. I left the job 1 month later, then things were able to progress. Fast forward 5years later, we’re still together. Had I not left the job I’m not sure how things would have gone because I always lived by the rule, “Don’t sh*t where u eat!”

That Grey's Anatomy type of relationship. Too much drama, depending on the people involved. It might be easier if the couples work in different departments.

So I had a thing with a coworker and it didn’t work but when things ended he lost his job because he got arrested so I didn’t have to deal with the awkwardness of seeing him after crap hit the fan. He still showed up with his new girl lol, so I will never do that again.

Met my husband at work and been together almost 11 years and have 3 kids. Work out great for me but I do have to say we both left that job and have jobs at separate places now. People did try to interfere with our relationship and cause problems for us(Not the reason we left) and so it made it difficult to work in the same place.
