There's a reason why the athletes keep trying to go pull at different promotions. And that's to get more eyes on them, get more sponsors, and make more money. only the top 2 or 3 guys make enough to arm wrestle full time and that's the goal for every arm wrestler is to arm wrestle full time. Arm wrestling isn't big enough for contracts yet. That's why they keep trying to go arm wrestle at different promotions with the arm that's not contracted. But yet they still getting threatened and banned. That's definitely not right.

Bruh. The athlete voluntarily signs the contract. It’s a voluntary business agreement. Obviously EVW is big enough to have and fulfill contracts which is why they exist. If they sign a contract that they agree with how is it “not right”?

They go to different promotions to compete with their non contracted arm to make more money so they can try to arm wrestle full time and get their name out there but they get threatened or banned. Non contracted arm shouldn't get em banned or threatened. They shouldn't be getting threatened at all under any situation, especially for their non contracted arm. the goal for most if not all arm wrestlers is to be able to do it full time. But the sport ain't big enough for that yet so they go to other promotions to compete with their non contracted arm. they are told not to be seen with anyone thats banned or do any podcast that disagrees with them. That's literally dictatorship

You are correct Paul. Only the top guys get paid enough to afford to pull 2 or 3 times per year. They have to have the freedom as basically independent contractors to jump around.

If the big names in arm wrestling would just speak up more about that, the bans, the threatening stuff, and about the part where they are told not to go on certain podcast and promote themselves. If they would speak up more then I believe things would change pretty quick. Devon could go to any promotion no matter how small it is and turn it into a big promotion cause people will watch him wherever he goes. Then the other big names I think would feel more comfortable speaking up and standing up for themselves

@@tallpaulhutchensjr. do you know the terms of the contract? According to Engin there is no discrepancy between the arms contracted. So according to that there is no “uncontracted arm” and why would a promoter only contract one arm while their athlete could still get injured on the other arm which could cause them not to fulfill their obligations on the contracted arm? I’m sure if his contract specifically stated that it only applied to his right arm, then Georgi would be pulling with knuckles up on the left arm as the promoter would have no legal right to prevent him from doing so. Do you know why Georgi agreed to pull with Knuckles Up? Was it because he needed the money because his EVW contract isn’t lucrative enough as you assume? Or is it possible he just likes to compete, liked the offer but didn’t read his Coresports contract fully, ask questions, or speak with Engin to clarify before agreeing to knuckles up? That sounds more plausible to me. There is no proof that this “dictatorship” you’re referring to exists. To me it just sounds like athletes voluntarily signing an exclusive contract and having to adhere to the agreement they voluntarily entered. Sound business practice. Until there is absolute proof of wrongdoing on Engins part, it’s all speculative to suggest there is wrongdoing.

Georgi said he is under contract. Engin said that Georgi is under contract. But Devon thinks it is presumptuous to say that Georgi is under contract? It is really sad see just how disingenuous/fake Devon has become. It really does seem the fame and fortune has changed him. Devon and probably everybody else is afraid of their contracts. He warned everybody about them, then he signed one and now he’s beholden to Engin like everybody else and I’m sure Engin is holding contracts over everybody’s heads. Devon is in a weird spot. He doesn’t have fuck you money and he isn’t at the top of the sport performance wise. He keep get the sport to where it is but if he pisses off Engin or WAF they are dumb enough to ban even him and I think he knows that. So he’s staying in his place.
