DKDKTV is not a bts channel but yes it's more than half a bts content channel and feelings get stronger from past few months and I am more disappointed bcs I kinda feel like u guys are ignoring sm artist videos and as u talked about ur explained series then I was very disappointed when u skipped many good videos like BAEKHYUN×LOCO - Young NCT - Simon says , We go up (Yestoday mv too but it was released in March and that time series was not started but if thinking to do past videos then plz include this too) And I thought that u would talk about NCT regular irregular album concept and talk about their title track regular song lyrics with different versions also but it's not that much. I hope more content could be seen from u guys Ur channel is still best kpop channel.👌👌

That is another really good point. BTS puts out TONS of content. So of course DKDKTV will have more BTS related videos. That said, this channel is still really selective on what videos they make on them. If they weren't they'd literally be making BTS videos nearly every damn day. The guys put a lot of thought into their content and don't just throw out fluff for the clicks. Other subscribers need to show some respect.

K-pop community let's be sincere, I'm sure at 100% that if they were another group noboby would have said something. The problem is not "They talk to much about one group" the real problem for you is "They talk about BTS" am I right? Amoung k-popers is a trend to hate BTS, some friends told me that in some k-pop pages/group chats if you talk about BTS you get insulted and kicked out and should we talk about the amount of dislikes on BTS mvs? BTS now is a hot topic so made peace with it and focus on your faves instead of spread hate and complain because people talk about Bangtan. If you want to hate someone hate us, not the group, who worked and work hard everyday.

Exactly, they "only hate the fans" but call them BTShit and their company BigShit, attack the group itself for their vocals or come at them with 473838 plagiarism claims, constantly discredit BTS' HUGE achievements like denying their global impact or calling their daesang's charity and trying to create a petition to the Blue House about it on numerous occasions, encouraging Japanese Nazis and extreme right wingers (REAL DANGEROUS PEOPLE) to try and destroy BTS' career because of JM's Korean Independence shirt, trash talking their new 'brother group' before they even debut and even hate on one of the kids in it for his REAL NAME since it's the same as a STAGE NAME of one of their faves, etc. etc. etc. Really another level of obsessed and another level of hatred. Well ain't that the hottest tea i saw today.. Like truly, how would you expect DKDKTV to do an explain video for lyrics that doesn't need to explained? Maybe ask your groups first to make their lyrics and concepts into something that has some deep connotations and meanings inside of it. Or that touches social issues or have some cultural relevance. Honestly.. ARMY is like the biggest fandom in the world right now and BTS are just making news and dropping contents here and there. Combine the artist contents and the fandom hype, ofcourse you're gonna hear about BTS and ARMY more often. I'm so done with all of you whining and saying BTS this, ARMY that. Honestly I don't think you're even near being a bts channel, bts as a percentage of your channel's content as a whole is not even 10%, tho as a percentage of your kpop content, they're like 50% which is understandable tbh because 1)David is an army and it's his channel and he can upload whatever he loves 2)they are 7 out of 20 videos from your explain series because their lyrics are actually worth explaining. I honestly was even expecting you to explain outro: tear by bts but you didn't 3)you're kpop content is pretty diverse, and it's literally the most high quality out there, you don't half ass reactions or explanations, like even reactors choose to react to your explain series because it's that interesting. Talking a lil bit more about bts is not something bad and it definitely doesn't make you clout chasers or youtubers that are thirsty for attention, Im not saying that bts are the only high quality group out there that you could use for high quality content, there are alot more, tho honestly you're doing a great job at trying to cover everyone, don't force yourselves to talk about other groups when there's nothing to be talked about with them, if you do, you're videos would look silly and forced, it would seem like your trying to gain subscribers from every fandom, and that would look thirsty tbh. And don't hold back on bts content, because then, that would look biased. Do whatever you think is good for the channel. I'm looking forward to more content from you kpop or not and including bts or not. Ducks should like you for the quality of your videos despite who you talk about.

@@VieLui I'm a huge BTS fan and agree that tons of these types of comments are really stupid and disrespectful, and if they aren't coming from teenagers then they're coming from EXTREMELY immature adults. Having complex lyrics and/or music videos is not a requirement for being a highly entertaining artist and a talented musician. However my assumption is the rudeness is coming from a place of frustration based on the fact that fans of other groups have been short-sighted regarding the reason DKDK have chosen certain songs for the Explained series, and I *also* agree that many people are consistently aggressive toward BTS content without stopping to consider its relevancy or be at all open-minded toward the group's quality. And thank you for always being genuine in your channel. ✊🏼💜

Lets take a step back from trying to equalize all kpop groups on the basis that they have worked hard. DKDKTV make videos on achievements (and controversy) of the hallyu wave. Who has the most global achievements (and controversy)? BTS They make a koreans react to kpop video. What group would offer the most content by being known in korea the most? BTS DKDKTV make videos explaining profound lyrical, symbolic content through the social views of a korean. BTS' lyrics have the most to pick apart, their videos have the most symbolic content and require the most social context. Y'all need to get your head out of your ass and understand that bts is the group that fits their content the most. In reacting that way youre literally forcing them to not shine light on major topics and a group that not only they, but alot of their audience likes.

I'm a casual checker of your channel and one thing I loved the most was the 'Explained MVs/Songs' series. Like, you provide more depth to the song/video for international fans which is very helpful and interesting to watch. Also, I really hope you guys create a whole 'BTS Explained' series. This is a really quality content. In short, you guys provide good content for armys and they, in return, they show up with interactions. So, it's pretty understandable that the majority of your content is BTS related (Not to forget BTS's content is PLENTY!). Thank you for working hard and I wish you the best!

Omg, yes you can explain some old stuff, there are some artists that have really complicated lyrics and mv's. My suggestions: Epik High/Tablo, G-dragon, Mino. Especially GD, he has so much symbolism like I still don't know what's going on in his mv Coup D'etat.

I think you're doing great guys, just keep it up!👍🏼

I love your explained series and I'm really happy that you have specific criteria. If fans are upset that there is no 'Explained' for their artist, there is a good reason for it - because their song/mv/message is simple enough to not need an explanation! The variety on your channel is fantastic and I really appreciate learning more about Korean culture through you. Admittedly I haven't watched all of your videos (I'll watch the bike one, I promise!!), but I will absolutely make an effort to share them more. Anything related to food is also great too because Korean cuisine is very complex and it would be great to know more about different dishes than fried chicken, bbq, and bibimbap. Keep up the great work!!

I hope you wont think twice about doing a BTS video going forward though. We reaaaaally need your explained series for a lot of their songs. A track like say, Ma City, i had to ask a Korean acquaintance the significance of some of the lyrics to understand it better. Other than BTS, B.A.P has some fantastic lyrics.

I looooooove your channel! I've been around since your first reaction videos. What about talking about older songs too? Like for example, H.O.T has some songs that are really worth explaining and at the same time you're introducing another generation of kpop. Older songs from other kpop solos and groups could help, instead of just focusing on the new releases. That way you dont have to be stressed on what new explains to do.

I wanted to suggest some Bigbang song explanations...I found myself stuck trying to explain the word play and metaphors in some BB songs (like Bae Bae/Zutter/Doomdada) where the MVs are so crazy and sometimes distract people from the genius behind the lyrics. I think it would be a great series leading back to 4/5 of them returning from the military! I would also like some B.A.P explanations, that group has some amazing messages as well!

And are you sure people gonna watch these videos though? This is the question y’all should be asking yourselves. Like they showed, they are non bts videos they made which don’t get views. They put videos on here which they know their subscribers will Like

@@whitneystne2706 perhaps they will gain more subscribers and a wider audience that enjoy that kind of content I for one will subscribe if I can get some of that content Ofc anyone will know, in the kpop reaction world, bts videos = views, but also is that the only thing THEY want to put out? A couple months back, I subscribed to your channel because you took the big and wonderful world of K-pop and made it understandable for an English-speaking international fan. I'll admit it, I originally subscribed for your BTS explained videos because let's be real, those songs are not the easiest to understand. But I stayed because your reactions, your opinions, your explanations, and your videos felt so genuine and honest, and you weren't afraid to say what you felt like what was needed to be said. Because of your videos, I want to visit Korea even more now and maybe even meet you both someday. So keep doing what you're doing!!! I'll still be here whatever you do!

I recently subscribed to your channel and I really didn't get that impression at all. And I already watched the biking video from Busan to Seoul. I'm into Korean culture more than actual K-pop (but it goes together so 🤷) and I think is totally understandable that you guys mention a lot BTS, come on, that's the boom. Whether you like it or not they're opening the path westward (well, westward if you see the 2D Mapa Mundi haha) for other artists. Also, I've been watching Seoul City Vibes and I super enjoyed when you met the Brazilian girl, it was super funny. And the video where Danny "lost" his phone. Anyways, this is getting long: I particularly really enjoy your videos, period.

As you guys said that u look for something in the lyrics, the mv or the concept to explain any music video, your haters and most importantly BTS haters should understand this by now that BTS universe and story line has been so splendidly constructed that it has high conversational value and topics which can be discussed and understood. So if your channel becomes a forum for the international fans, like me, to understand BTS and Korean culture specifically, just take pride in it without worrying and unnecessarily self introspecting. Also, these haters aren't able to tolerate their visual based groups with big back support (let's not specify names, 😒😒)not getting attention anymore so they just used your channel as another route to gain some spotlight. SO JUST TAKE IT AS A FACT THAT ALONG WITH BTS, YOUR CHANNEL IS ALSO FAMOUS AS FUCK AND CHILL OUT. 😀🤘

Danny, I’ll go watch your biking video! Also, you guys do whatever you wish to do with your channel. I feel like other fandoms just want their groups to be the center of topic regardless of what they release, premium quality or not. I agree with you guys, it hard to find an explanation and meaning in vague, repetitive lyrics and it’d be a waste of time to create a video when there is nothing genuine to address. What lyric explanation videos you have released, I find them very educating and insightful, especially BTS’s Idol because there was so much going on and as an international KPop fan from the U.S, I was oblivious to all the cultural messages in that video. You guys keep doing you! Much love 💜

Lmaooo the salty BTS antis getting mad They can simply skip your BTS videos, no one forces them to watch your BTS content. You (especially David) love BTS and a lot of your audience does too - so there is nothing wrong with that. They should just watch the other videos you do and ignore your BTS ones if it gets them so heated lmao. You DO make other videos so I don't know why they conveniently overlook those just to fit their narrative of claiming you only react to BTS smh. So selective. @@mitraaxxiv109 I don't think she was throwing shade though. BTS does have meaningful lyrics, while other groups have more repetitive (which isn't necessarily bad, since repetitiveness equals catchyness) and somewhat superficial lyrics. There's nothing wrong with having "repetitive and superficial" lyrics, it's not like every group has to talk about serious issues. Kpop groups are just that, groups, and their job is to sing/rap, dance and entertain their fans, it's not like their job is to make people aware of serious issues. Some groups (like BTS) decide to have meaningful lyrics/mv/content in general, thus making it easier for channels like DKDKTV to talk about them. Obviously BTS aren't the only ones who have this kind of message; Stray Kids is also a good example of meaningful music. Finally I think that the OP said kpopies referring to those Kpop fans that always go hating on BTS, just like armies who hate on other groups are sometimes called ermies (another example would be blinks and blonks) (Sorry for the long post and I hope you didn't get angry)

The short answer is NO, you're a KPOP channel; you offer contect/news/explanations on many groups. Just because you have more news on BTS doesn't mean you're biased towards them, BTS are simply more popular & have more news & topics for discussion these days so ofc you cover them more than other groups. Kpop fans who are telling you to focus more on other groups are kinda...not being realistic, you're gonna offer content that people are interested in & naturally many people (wether it's fans or haters) are more interested in BTS than other groups. Also I appreciate David always offering a fair opinion on BTS related issues, people think just you're biased towards them but in my opinion you're kinda just acknowledging their influence, you don't have to have negative opinions on something popular just to appear fair.
