Is downtown Las Vegas safe?

Thanks for to tour. I am considering 211 for a short term lease. I have always wanted to live in Vegas, now retired, nothing holding me back. Have seen some negative comments/reviews of the area, was good to see what it looks like at night. Thanks for the video and if I choose 211, I’ll definitely put you down as how I heard about the place.

I used to be a long time strip tourist but I'd say since about 2015 I switched to downtown approx 2-3 trips a year. Unless it's some big festival or a friday / saturday night I find the driving to be very calm and relaxed downtown, where I stay I get free parking so I like to roll out and get dinner somewhere I've never been before. I've walked all over the area, mostly during the day but I've gone from Plaza to Evel Pie to El Cortez and back to Plaza late at night and felt completely safe.

Thanks for watching! There are 3 paid parking areas at the 211. Plus the parking across the street is free and no time limits. I believe the same on the north side of the building on Stewart Ave.

Downtown Las Vegas is NOT safe. In fact, it's the pit of Nevada. Moved to Vegas in 2016 and have lived downtown since 2021. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. I would NEVER recommend living downtown to anyone. Absolutely disgusting. I can't wait to get the Hell out of here.
