It has quickly climbed up my favorite video game storylines ever! Looking forward to playing more and seeing what other endings I can get, but I'm definitely not looking forward to certain areas that drag, mainly because of the combat and too many encounters.

@@Kaganath I didn't really mind the Combat, but i will always hate the Fade section, it just drags on and on. Are you planing on playing Da2 and Inquisition?

​@@lukita884 I heard there was a "skip the fade" mod that's popular on nexus lol. I already made two videos on Dragon Age Inquisition and loved the game despite its flaws, and yeah I'm going to be playing DA2 as well. My goal is to have a fixed timeline before Veilguard releases so that's been keeping me very excited for the release.

Bioware characters man. None of their games have ever been top of the pack in terms of combat or graphics, but christ the characters and the story are just utterly incredible. I absolutely will never forget the Normandy Crew, I will never forget the KotOR plot twist, and I will never forget dommy mommy Morrig... uh what? Uh Alistair, yeh Alistairs jokes were the best, never forget those.

When everyone's trying to stop me from romancing Morrigan because she's evil and manipulative, and I'm just like "that's the point!!" lol Anyway, I gotta get into Mass Effect next after I'm done with DA. Been wanting to play it for years but somehow just never found the time.

@@Kaganath I can't praise it enough, first game is a bit clunky but it's my favourite game trilogy of all time. Other games have shifted around and moved places throughout the years but the Mass Effect trilogy, Bloodborne and Outer Wilds have remained in my top 3 since I played them.

@@Villain_in_Glasses Is there any difference in the Legendary Edition and OG version of the trilogy? I'm seeing mixed opinions on which version to play.

@@Kaganath About the only legitimate complaint I can kinda agree with sorta, is that it didn't really change too much to warrant a new playthrough on Steam, like the RERemakes I guess. Though that isn't what I was looking for, nor expecting, and I feel many just conflate remake and remaster. As someone who never played it, it's the definitive version to play, no doubt. My personal opinion as someone who has played through all versions several times? The games and DLC being in one place rules and makes save transfer painless. The graphics boost, though minor, does airbrush the worst corners without totally ruining the original feel. The QoL features like sprint, are honest to god improvements that feel like they were added by people who understood the actual shortcomings. And the 'ass' complaints are dumb as hell and not worth listening to. Overall it feels like they did what they could to standardise the three games into a more cohesive trilogy, without stepping on the qualities of each that made them unique and I couldn't be happier for a chance to play through them all again at 4k 60fps. The only negative, is no ME3 multiplayer. As shoehorned in as it was, I spent more time playing that than I did Halo Reach multiplayer.

If you have the ability to play it on Xbox, I highly recommend it. There's no performance issues like with the PC, the only downside is you can't take advantage of the fantastic mods that they have for the PC version.

How is this game on a controller? Curious because for Inquisition I actually prefer controller by a large margin.

@@Kaganath I prefer it with a controller, but that could be because I first played Knights of the Old Republic and Dragon Age on console.

I am playing it now, not because of the recent Veilguard release but because this one was in my bucket list for a while. Funny it takes me this long since I am a fan of their Baldur's Gate series. I'm enjoying it so far about 40hrs in and it basically feel like a continuation of BG in term of gameplay but with 3D graphic, which is better or worse depends on individual preference. BG3 by Larian on the other hand is just a Divinity game with new skin, they can call it BG but it isn't. I have no interest in playing other Dragon Age games or any newer games from Bioware or anything punished by EA today. There are some decent indie and mid-budget J and Western RPGs to choose from these days with better gameplay than the average mainstream AAA garbage.
