I'm a learner driver and it's honestly so frustrating seeing people do things I'd fail a test for week in week out. The other day I saw a woman drive up the wrong way on a one way street near my house, and she REVERSED (no blind spot checks, just looking behind as she goes back into a basic two way road) when she realised. The no entry signs are RIGHT THERE, TWO IN FACT! I feel like people need to be retested once every couple points. Learners have to be so strict and safe, yet it's like no one was ever a learner anymore.

Thats one of my pet peevs mate i see it all the time, they think we are fking mind readers. I was crossing the road the other day and this dumb driver looked at me with his hands in the air like its me fault 😴 use your fking indicators! Another thing that pisses me off is when i see people reversing onto a main road because they are too fking lazy to drive around. Taxis are the worst

@@DownAvenueWay You are right, during my 9 year period of BMW ownership I all but stopped using the indicators, it's bizarre, I am back driving a Ford now and drive as though the highway code is my bed time reading ......

Absolutely it’s getting worse, middle lane hogging, lane discipline, inability to indicate, people not stopping at zebra crossings, last second lane changes nearly crashing into vehicles, idiots everywhere!

Well just yesterday I did see a Middle Eastern/Asian looking man driving on the wrong side of the road in my town. He even stopped at traffic lights still on the wrong side, blocking the carriageway for cars that were now able to go that way because the lights were green for them. He then gets a green light on "his" side and turns head on into traffic like Borat and his ice cream van. One of the weirdest things I've seen in years. Just seemed to be in a total world of his own, people were hooting and shouting at him and he didn't seem to register or react to this being a problem. How can you see other cars on the road and think "Yep, I won't follow them and will instead just drive on what's clearly the wrong side - why are all these cars coming straight towards me anyway?!" No urgency or alarm from him and he was puttering along at 20mph.

I've been driving for around 18 years, including my driving as a learner driver, and I'm now 37, and I swear that the roads never used to be as bad as this back when I began driving. Just this week I've been tailgated, which annoys the hell out of me, I've also been cut up on roundabouts and junctions, I've also been dangerously overtaken on a busy road by a 🔔🔚 in a audi, who decided to show off and overtake myself and the 2 other cars behind me, he came speeding up doing over 70 in a 30 and overtook the 3 of us, and then he narrowly missed hitting the front of my car to come back into the lane he should be in because there were several oncoming cars and he needed to pull back in quickly. I tend to find it's certain types of people and certain types of cars that are slways involved. I've also been dangerously overtaken on a very narrow back road by a young lad that looked about 10. If I hadn't been aware of what he was going to do he could have ran me off of the road. Luckily I pulled over onto a grass verge and also I'm very thankful that it was just me, my partner and our puppy and that our kids weren't in the car. We caught up to him at a level crossing and my partner got out of the car and banged on his window and asked him what the f he was playing at.... Apparently he was late for college.... I personally think it had more to do with the young girl he had with him that he was trying to impress. I am always wondering how most of the people I encounter on the road even have a licence. I think there needs to be tougher restrictions on people who speed or drive dangerously. Not to mention a massive crackdown on those that are driving but don't even have a licence, or pay road tax, or insurance or have a valid MOT. It makes me mad that because of idiots like that our car insurance is so expensive.

I am seeing a recent plague of people who just veer off roundabouts at the first exit without indicating left. It buggers up the traffic flow for anyone correctly giving way to the right, you and everyone behind have to wait because that idiot isn't making their intentions clear. That could end up a Serious on a driving test yet old farts do it every day. Also a few years ago, I used to live in flats on a main road and there was a Keep Clear box outside the car park entrance. You could turn right off the main road and straight in, but one day some pillock had stopped in the Keep Clear (there were traffic lights further down) and the road was too busy behind me for me to wait. Had to do a go-around of the one way system and a nearby rat run to approach from the top instead, adding well over five extra minutes to my journey when I should have been seconds from home.

Back in the late 80`s early 90`s I was covering the ambulance work when the paramedics were on strike. I was in Romford on a shout trying to get round a learner driver safely. The bugger didn`t even have his seat belt on and he was being taught by a "driving instructor". I still drive professionally now and it`s even worse. My crystal ball has had more servicings than my car

All these immigrants who have sat a test abroad that consists of driving from one end of the road to the other and having no knowledge of our signage, customs etc are causing chaos. Also a mega laxidasical attitude policing the roads by the police hasn't helped.

I used to work on a technology park where there were contractors and staff from other countries. The site management had to prepare an information pack with diagrams about how to use roundabouts etc.

It’s when someone moves out to the overtaking lane, and then decide they actually just want level with the car to the left and stay there. All whilst causing a traffic jam behind them and not having a care in the world. Add to that the people with the lights that are so bright, you’d be safer staring at the sun

Yes it is bad my husband only been driving for nearly 3 years and every time he goes in the car he sees so many people doing stupid shit behind the wheel and look at you like you're in the wrong so many people such bad drivers we know how you feel like you say these idiots make the insurance sky high I recommend to watch London dash cam he sees so many idiot drivers per day
