I love how John Cena did an interview where he apologizes to the Rock. He didn't realize the mistake he made talking about the Rock not wrestling because of movies. Then he did a few movies & now completely see how he was wrong not to see how The Rock was not only making movies but lifting Pro Wrestling to even higher heights as well. It took a big man to come out in front of millions to admit you were wrong. Glad to see both guys succeeding past wrestling. o7

A little part of it was real, that's what the best wrestlers/performers do, they take a little of what's real and help fuel what's acting.. that's what he meant, when he was coming back how Cena said that Rock should stick to acting and Rock didn't like that so he used that to inform the "beef" that you saw on screen. Just like he did when it was Rock and Austin they played off each other because they wanted to be the best.

How do you know it is business.
@davidmckechnie93856 жыл бұрын
It all originated a few years before Rock's 2011 return. Cena went on a radio/talk show & said "I know he's busy making movies & there's nothing wrong with that, but don't fuck me over & the fans by saying you love this business (WWE) & not be here." Which, I don't care what you do as a profession, that was disrespectful as hell (not to mention, didn't make sense 'cause Rock wasn't the first & only WWE Superstar to move on to something else. Hell, I'm surprised Cena didn't say the same thing about Steve Austin). & you don't disrespect those that helped pave the way for you or the company you work for. Rock let it slide until he inducted his father & grandfather in the WWE Hall of Fame, & jabbed at him about Cena's movie, The Marine (in a room, face to face no less). & for years after that, 'til 2011, Cena continued to "run his mouth" on & off screen, legitimately egging Rock on. Until when Rock finally accepted, came back. Cena saw first hand that the veteran could still perform full matches, as well as finish them (while injured) & the legitimate "beef" pretty much ended.

The Rock isn't over the feud. That's why he had him killed off in Fast X. I prefer John Cena over The Rock in every way possible. The Rock thinks he can act but he can't. He's always playing the same character in every movie where as we can't say the same for a John Cena. The Rock may be the bigger star right now but John Cena will soon be a massive movie star as well. No one really wanted The Rock in their movies in the beginning and was laughed at when he wanted to surpass Will Smith in money earned. Now that he has, it's not so funny anymore. But that's mainly because of his high wage demand in almost every movie. For John Cena, peiole are saying he wants to be The Rock, he will surpass him. He surpassed him in the wrestling industry and will surpass him in the movie industry too. The Rock has lost a lot of respect because of his huge ego. John Cena could end up like that too one day but for now I prefer him over The Rock and because John Cena was pointlessly killed in Fast X, I won't be watching the next part. The Rock may be the biggest movie star from the wrestling industry, but he's no where near as good as Batista

Like The Rock said, he left the WWE for 7 years making movies in Hollywood and the stuff with John Cena started sometime in 2008 and 2009 when he began to criticize The Rock for his decision not to return to WWE and that he doesn't care about wrestling by not showing up, because remember that other than the videotaped promos on RAW and Smackdown and the 2008 Hall Of Fame, The Rock hasn't shown up on any WWE programming for YEARS. So when he returned in 2011 the WWE turned his real life feud with Cena into a storyline.
