What an awesome and fun toy! But why not move the track further back? I can't see any disadvantages other than adding to the length. Lots of benefits including increased safety (very important for children especially), and accessibility to the seat.

OK, so you can run over somebody else’s foot safely but the problem I see is what if the rider’s foot slips off the foot rest and ends up under the track at full speed? I see seriously sprained or dislocated joints.
