Is EOD Story Good? Maybe Not | Zero to Hero: Episode 7 (+ Free Stuff!)

Been real busy lately, some classes are coming to an end, its my sons birthday and 10 year marriage anniversary so i have been preoccupied outside of being sick.
Hope to get a little more playtime this week, but we will see.

Hope you enjoyed the video, end of dragons is done, skyscale is done, time to get into POF and work on the last few mounts. we also still need to finish up HOT and leyline gliding, but we still have a few weeks of Wing 1 to complete before we are hard-pressed on the Wing 3 items (Aurillium Mirror, Itzel Poison KC kill)

I was one of those guys who at first was indifferent to the story and later actively grew to think of it as a slog and chore to get through. My biggest complaint is that despite having dozens of vibrant and fantastical cultures and people, everyone speaks with the same quippy "voice" that's often compared to Marvel movies. Gone are the days when Norn are stoic and reverent. Asura are less isolationist and xenophobic. Charr are less honor-bound and bellicose. Sylvari are less guided by Ventari and more by Joss Whedon. And the reveal that the isolated Canthans speak and act like the typical Seattle urbanite was the nail in the coffin for me. It's all just one type of mannerism and sassy Reddit/Twitter style of humor for everyone.

I respect the commitment of getting ill just to show how time friendly GW2 is. Jokes aside, I'm a big fan of the green/blue prophet shard split, albeit for a more selfish reason.

I just hope we get a way to experience Ascalon pre-searing. I remember the searing scarring me when playing GW1, considering how beatiful and peaceful the place was. I always love the little throwbacks to characters from that time.

I would like them to revisit all the area that were affected by the dragons. Maybe new story in the same map, but then they might need to make a separate timeline map for the new story.

I really agree with you on Glenna. Shes made raiding pretty fun and adds a pretty fun 'normal persons reaction' to raid bosses. Like, yeah.. if I saw Cairn, Id be like "Did you see that? What is that??" too!
