Been a dreadful grumbler,feel extremely convicted..May God have mercy and may I repent 😞❤️🙏🏻

You cant repent until you fill the void with Him. Just giving something up does not work- not even for the ascetics. The need for fulfillment is still there - and it WILL be satisfied. either in the maximum joy - Ps 16:11, etc. repentance is not just turning FROM something, but it's more a turning TO something...

Ron Zaccagnini sure and I turn fully to Christ and ask Him to fill the void...What else would you suggest?

@@tanyacat5089 I wish I had all of the answers...My experience has been that success always follows a lot of failure, and none of us will totally succeed until we get rid of this body. Rom 8:23. But replacing the fleeting, artificial 'joy' with the real thing takes time...in the Word. I dont have it licked either, but I know that once i grab hold of that joy the comes form understanding the Word, and fellowship with Him, I replace the temptation- when it raises its head- with worship. I found a great resource in a sermon by Sam Storms:"The Sin Killing Power of Christian Hedonism"!!! That, and John Piper's sermons on Christian Hedonism (Desiring God) have transformed my LIFE!!!!!!!!!! Not a 100% success, but it's biblical...and it works.

Simco Doublavix He left out a lot of scriptures pertaining to temptation that totally contradict all that he said. By proxy, God is the tempter. All things “common” to us are by his hand.

Lord, thank you for bringing me here, for allowing me to help understand what my life as a sinner has been. I repent as a sinner, I feel shame like Adam and Eve, naked and bare. Lord thank you for always loving me, for allowing me to repent 🙏🏴

I declare and bind myself, my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ to know no temptation that is not common to mankind has overtaken one while I bind myself not being unequally yoked and sharing anything in common with an unbeliever serving satan in being overtaken by tempation, loosening 1 corinthians 10:13, 2 corinthians 6:14-18, matthew 6:24 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

Temptation is one of the most obvious contradictions in the Bible. It says that God is not tempted by evil nor does he tempt anyone. Then it turns right around and tells us to pray that he not lead us into temptation. Even if he himself is not doing the tempting it doesn’t matter. He is guilty of tempting us by proxy.
@ronzacc15 жыл бұрын
We come into this world condemned. Sinners. It's inherited. Without hope. Seeking gratification and fulfillment from something. God is guilty of fulfilling that desire- or offering to. It does not matter if you seek every temptation to fulfill yourself, or if you never seek any. The worst sin is to reject the real fulfillment that God offers: Himself. He is guilty of offering us a way OUT. You can pursue every pleasure to the MAX- as Solomon did, and you will come to the same conclusion that he did: 'All is vanity and seeking after wind'.
@mr.c24855 жыл бұрын
Ron Zaccagnini Who’s responsible for our inherent condemnation? Who gave us a nature that tends toward disobedience? Who is it that created the possibility for temptation to be a factor? It’s a total contradiction to hand us over to potentially dangerous powers and then claim to offer a way out. I take NO responsibility for the existence of those powers....do you?
@mr.c24855 жыл бұрын
Karen Anderson That’s not a level playing field. We are expected to take confidence in the weakness taken on by one who has the knowledge of all of creation. If I had that knowledge, weakness would not be much of an issue.
@mr.c24855 жыл бұрын
Karen Anderson How can Jesus claim to share in our humanity with the knowledge of creation at his disposal? That’s not possible
@ronzacc15 жыл бұрын
@@mr.c2485 Man is responsible for inherent condemnation. The nature which tends toward disobedience was the result of the fall. The Cross has given us a NEW nature! Take a look at Romans- it talks about that very thing. God could have wiped us all out and been just in doing so. Not sure what you mean for taking responsibility for powers.... but the decision to fail is mine..and yours. It is all we can do, until and unless God gives us that new nature. That only happens when we turn to the savior, cast ourselves on Him- putting all of our eggs in His basket- give up trying to do it alone. All of our righteousness (Trying to do it myself) is like filthy rags (menstrual rags). Is 64:6.

Oh, brother, I pray that you would come to God alone and ask for the strength to overcome it. It is possible, I quit pornography months ago, and haven't looked back. The old man in me wants it but I wont let him with Gods' help. We must learn to rely on God. Period.

It's a pretty common sin among men. I pray for the way out also.
@mr.c24855 жыл бұрын
Luke Shaddick What did you do that was malicious? Only malice aforethought makes anything “evil”. Sexual desire is from God. Why would he give us a desire that is potentially dangerous? That makes him guilty of creating sin in us....by proxy.

@@mr.c2485 It is outside of marriage which makes it adultery and that is a crime in gods eyes
@ronzacc15 жыл бұрын
@@mr.c2485 It is not the desire that is wrong, or sinful, but, as John mentioned, it is the satisfaction of that desire outside of God's parameters, or without the faith that God can and will provide for our desires. It is turning to the world for the satisfaction or gratification. It is not the desire that is evil, but how we choose to satisfy the desire. are we God-"LY" - looking to God for all of our needs and fulfillment, or are we World-LY. Looking to the world.

I’m just like God. I enjoy leaving loaded weapons, girly mags, money, etc lying around the house for my small children to find. I do this to see wether or not they love and appreciate all that I do for them. If they touch any of my things I have no choice but to condemn them for all of eternity. What a load of crap! This guy is clueless.
@jessszabo50495 жыл бұрын
Mr. C, I'm praying for you right now.. That God will show you and teach you that He's always there for you... you may be like a child finding a loaded weapon etc at times, but you are NEVER LEFT ALONE. Also, these "things" we are not to touch are not of God, they are of OUR sinful desires and our free will that is not of God.. His will is always Higher than our wills but He doesn't force His will onto us... but He gave us all the way out of it if we choose. He gave us the key in His Son Jesus Christ who has the power to remove all desire to do wrong.. He can fix any ail, heal any heartbreak, any brokenness, any perceived "defect" in you... all you have to do is accept and trust... it's really that simple.. He does ALL the rest if you only let Him in and ask.. Let Him lead you, let Him guide you, while you fall in love every single day with the Creator of the Universe

No, we start out condemned. We are not innocent children. We all deserve condemnation.God is holy, and all stand condemned. All of these things he allows the world to dangle in front of us are opportunities to learn that none of these satisfy...but all lead to emptiness. They force us to look to the only One who can satisfy. We can spend our lives chasing fulfillment and gratification and end up with empty hands. or we can believe Him that He is the source of joy. Psalm 16:11.
@mr.c24855 жыл бұрын
Ron Zaccagnini If you are referring to the beginning with Adam and Eve , then your comment is nonsensical. The tree was of Gods making and “the world” was not an issue. God did the “dangling” ......so by proxy he lead them into temptation which scripture clearly states that he doesn’t do. So...which is it that tempts?
@mr.c24855 жыл бұрын
Jess Love Sexual desire is not of God? Our nature towards disobedience is not of God? God doesn’t lead us into temptation? These “untouchables are all from him and ordained by him.
