One going over hidden mechanics would be good. I had no clue that unite moves gave you cdr until the emblem video. Some people don’t know that having multiple people on a goal zone speeds up your scoring speed. I’m sure there’s a ton more examples. Also I’ve been struggling a bit with my macro play, sometimes I don’t know which lane to go to or which objectives to contest.

​@@nixixim Just look at the ratios on Unite DB for that. If their ratios are lower than ~100%, then I probably wouldn't run a stacking item. Good examples are Lucario, Tsareena, or Decidueye. They all have abilities that have 200% ratios, or better. That's really all there is to it.

I saw this live and this is where I finally understood how exp share works. Started to use it with goodra on duoQ (duo being espeon) and it's so strong we can fight the 3v2 with center ganking early only because espeon is already lv5 by that point and goodra has real good early game, leading easily into the future objectives and drawing lots of aggro from the whole enemy team, shaping the game's macro almost solely by existing

Can confirm that if you're tied for the lowest XP Pokemon, both players get the passive XP together. It's easy to validate in a custom match with a teammate. When you're in opposite lanes, though (e.g. hoopa top and blissey or lax bottom), it's pretty unlikely you'll end up the exact same XP, and it's almost impossible to micromanage your actions to manufacture a tie in XP.

Really good video, it really just adds to the feeling that it sucks that pokemon unite doesn't give you this information clearly and more importantly has no draft mode where choices in items can be affected enormously by what the opponent chooses to play. Gengar I think is probably one of the pokemon that would become far less problematic if people could actually know they were going to come up against a gengar and pick correct items. The skill expression would be considerably higher.

FYI cram's autos were changed in the anniversary update. He actually does gain and lose atk spd same as every other mon now Edit: also charizard does proc razor claw's slow. Dragonite doesn't because he's classified as ranged; charizard is classified melee

Also your comment about wise glasses Wise glasses does absolutely take the flat +39 into account. All multplicative buffs are added together and applied after all additive buffs(tho emblem buffs get a bit funky from what laz has been saying) All in all tho, great video! I would REALLY love a video explaining all the MOBA vocabulary since I think a lot of words get mixed up or there's some words people don't understand, like what an ADC is and does, what kiting is and how it's employed, what a backcap is, and everything related. I actually put Assault Vest on carries like Ttar, and even Razor Leaf Decidueye. They need to stay close to enemies and don't have any built-in dashes so they're more liable of getting hit by a full rotation of something on the way in. In Ttar's case, he can absorb a move or two alongside Sandstorm's resists. For Decidueye it's the difference between being at half HP and being six feet under from Glaceon's machine gun fire haha.

I feel like Leftovers can be good in a world where we have more backline buffer/healer supports. It can see a little value now on Blissey as Egg Bomb is the only move she has that puts her into combat. So if she doesn’t have aggressive positioning, she can keep its effect going for a while. Though with this strategy, you’re kinda forced to run exp. share to make sure you don’t fall behind in the mid to late game

Leftovers is very niche, I only found it useful on pokemon that need their presence to be around or bush hiding(Mainly Defenders and supporters). Blissey is probably one of the best users since most of her moves don't require her to engage in combat, also a nice recovery item if you aren't using softboil. Snorlax is another great user because of his high Hp pool and the fact that block/yawn does 0 damage, thus not canceling the effect. It is also great for holding areas with no points of recovery, say zoning on the enemy side of drednaw. You could go back to base, but if you are already there you may forfeit vision and good positioning if your enemy isn't quite there yet. Other than that there is Slowbro who's passive should expire near the time leftovers pops up.

in hindsight i think something you might've underestimated the value of in this original presentation was that the zero in-game cost of adding cookie on top of attack weight-already stacking, reliably get your stacks in, may as well double-stack and get +1200HP with my +72atk-was going to make cookie a pretty big thing in the theia sky ruins meta, also the ease with which you can get fully stacked, with all of the additional lane and lane-adjacent farm. cookie has gotten significantly stronger in the last season

Cramorant does actually increase its attack speed trough level up since the last update. The buff from using the unite move also increases its attack speed and I’m pretty sure emblems and muscle band can increase it now too. Now does this actually make this viable on Cram? Probably not. Maybe on surf Cram to get a new boosted while you wait for surf to come back up, but then again you have such short basic attack range that you put yourself in harms way to much.

I think out of combat should either be changed to 4s or to only applying to enemy Pokémon (not wild). If it's the latter though they'd need to lower the speed from float stone though. I think if either of those change, those items will be viable since it would happen at a much more manageable rate.

Every Pokémon whether in combat or out of combat, heals for 1% of their unmodified HP stat at any given level every 5 seconds. You could build blissey to have 12k HP at Lv15 but you still gain 100 HP every 5 seconds. So this becomes 109 with leftovers. On AD carry that heal for roughly 50HP/5 sec the 9HP is a bigger percentage but it is still insignificant. In a game where it takes roughly 15 seconds to traverse half the map, having out of combat definition be half of that time is just stupid. The really need to introduce maps that or 3 to4 times larger or reduce the description of 'out of combat' by 3 times the current one. I think it would be fun if there was a threshold damage for the out of combat description; something like anything less than 5 or 10% max HP wouldn't be considered as engaging in combat.

I actually think the exact same thing. League of Legends has a larger map and out of combat is still 4s. My other thought is to make combat no longer proc on wild Pokémon, but then they'd have to adjust the speed on float stone to compensate for having it the whole jungle clear. This would also allow you to farm while healing with leftovers, making it viable as a way to heal and stay on the map farming as a valid cost to losing other item's damage/total tankiness

What? No, snorlax has never been attack based. It's always been special since gen 1.

@@spookiwae Snorlax has actually never been special attack based. At best, he was used as a special attacker because of how amnesia worked before the special stat split. In gen one, special/physical was determined by type. Normal was physical, so if you see Hyper Beam Snorlax, that's still a physical set. His special niche was, like I said, based off of amnesia. And from gen 2 onwards its special moves were for coverage, not because of its damage capabilities. After the physical/special split in gen 4, even coverage moves like fire blast were replaced with the weaker fire punch due to a better attack stat. Also, In Unite, its moves scale with attack, not special.

I calculated the percentage of focus band heal, without taking any damage or healing any more, you heal about 32% of your hp, I have a very unique way of making math and it took me a bit too long, you're welcome.

per unite.db Focus Band's per tick healing is based on missing HP but must proc at 25% (75% missing hp). Assuming Focus Band procs at exactly 25% for you and you take no damage afterwards: Tick 1 will result in 14% x missing hp (which would be 75%) = 10.5% Tick 2 will result in 14% x missing hp (which is 75%-10.5%) = 9.03% Tick 3 will result in 14% x missing hp (which is 75%-10.5%-9.03%) = 7.7% Focus Band therefore comes to about 27.23% of your hp if you take no extra damage after procing Focus Band.

I would love to see a troll 5 stack, the entire team using Exp Share. That way, everyone would get bonus XP and whoever is lowest will always get a boost. Cut off other benefits and be higher level than your opponents the entire game. Should be a fun match to watch 😁

I've done this on several occasions and it's weirdly strong, but super buggy and really hard to coordinate. Your whole team gets a big headstart just while heading to lane, and if you're diligent about allocating farm, you can run a team of 5 Pokemon that scale really well (like tsareena) and you'll all be 13+ at Zapdos. Hardest thing is to convince 4 people to do it with you to refine the strategy lol.

Would it help to think of Weakness Policy as a sort of "rage" item? I always liked to think of Weakness Policy as a rage ability and I may be a huge proponent of it. Also, because Focus Band continuously regenerates the health you lost, would Weakness Policy pair well with it?

Exp Share in my opinion is the best cool down for Unites. I run it on Sylveon to get to Masters every season Even on your respawn counter, that Unite meter is climbing fast as long as the rest of your team is still farming. Can get up to 6 Unites in one game if used immediately after it fills to 100%.

this is incorrect information. exp share is only functioning through the XP bar you passively gain over the course of the game, not on any cooldowns for moves. You passively generate unite move charge as soon as you start a game, and only an item like energy amp, which boosts that charge rate so it can charge faster, will affect that passive charge rate. please do not run exp. Share on sylveon.
