The departure of Jadzia Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine left a big hole in the cast. Enter Ezri Dax, another Trill officer and new host to the Dax Symbiont, to fill the void left by Jadzia. But is Ezri a satisfactory replacement character? Join me as I delve into what works and what doesn't work for the character.
