Today, I'm eating fast food in Thailand, but the real question is, how good is it? Is Fast Food In Thailand Better Than Fast Food In America? Especially compared to the more well known names like KFC, McDonald's and Burger King. I try the crispy chicken, the spicy chicken (of course, it is Thailand), along with some other fast food snacks. You can find Five Star chicken all over Thailand, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket. But really, you see them everywhere. Let's do this food review of Thai fast food compare how good it is.

Fun fact....This 5 stars chicken started it first business in Thailand in 1985 while the first ever KFC in Thailand was establised in 1984 so Thai people have always been familiar with KFC and 5 stars chicken for almost 40 years now. The Five Star Chicken and 7-11 are run by the same company, CP Corporations. That's why they are always together. Originally they do grilled chicken and just have fried chicken resently. You should have tried the chicken breasst roll. It's one of their signature item.

We are so happy we stumbled on this video. Saw one of these in Pattaya but did not know what it was and they kind of blended in with other carts (this one only sold grilled). Now as soon as we saw this I knew i had to try it. So today after visiting two of the places you covered in previous videos with the other guy we saw a 5 Star (also feet from a KFC) so grabbed yet more food to nibble on in hotel. First taste i had of the drumstick we knew we made the right choice. I just could not find that de boned thigh you showed. Might not have been in stock

I think you meant "Jiraphan Roast Chicken", right? For Joe, you should try this. In Thailand, the famous roast chicken brand is "Jiraphan", "Khao Suan Kwang", "Rama IX", "Tha Chang" etc. If you find the name like these on the sign board, do not be hesitate to try it!

From a Thai myself, the more I grow up the more I appreciate the 5Star Chicken. ไก่จ๊อ KaiJor the chicken roll one on stick is very good as a breakfast. KFC end up not compatible with my body somehow orz It used to be of good quality and with a bit better spice, but it the only one that keep drop down lately, perhaps since they establish themselves as one of common comfort food, they slowly reduce their cost. From my experience with local branch, not sure if big one has better quality. edit: WOOOOW This video basically explode! viewer up to 450k!!! you went in right direction indeed.

Five star chicken is my favourite, especially when eat grilled chicken with sticky rice. But I recommend u try the fish sauce fried chicken which is very delicious. In Thai we call it "Kai tod Nam pla". It is the most popular dish of five star chicken.

I love 5 Start. There is a lot local pack of five dogs that are very territorial to the truck I frequent. Any other dogs come near the truck a small war breaks out. I always get the crispy chicken chopped.

To tell you the truth, I miss my childhood version of the Five Star Chicken. I mean, every FSC location used to have a big glass showcase that inside was a griller with a dozen chickens rotating all day. I remember seeing rotisserie-style chicken makes my mouth water every time I drove passed FSC locations. But Five Star Chicken nowadays has become a typical fast food restaurant where most of the food items they offer were precooked from a factory somewhere just to save the cost of production. That's the reason why they lack the charm they once had.

My absolute favorite as long as I remember and I am almost 40 years old. I love their original grilled chicken, the only menu back then before additional fancy menus they have now. I recommend grilled breast chicken (with sugar cane smoke?) perfect taste with low low fat.

Thats original chicken rolls is call"Hoi jor"or"Kai jor"if made with chicken ,they serve it with the plum sauce.

@@hungrytoexplore You did it. Kai jor is the one that you've already eaten and another one is Spicy Kai jor (the orange one). Its original is Chinese food called "Hoi jor" that made from crab meat mixed with lard and flour then wrap with tofu skin.

Fun fact: Five star chicken is everywhere here in Bangalore, India. Its the best fried chicken available here, flavorful and spicy. KFC in India is super bland compared to it.

After 2 months in Thailand, the best crispy chicken we loved was from McDonald's near the Asok BTS station! Was awesome. I believe 2 pcs was about 119 Bhat.
