Do you think saturated fats are better than EVOO or avocado oil? Or are they equally good and the effects of those oils and saturated fat on weight loss and benefits are equally the same?

I think animal based is best, but avocado oil and pure olive oil are fine too ❤️

Thank you for another great video! Is there a reason some women lose inches when they increase fat and decrease protein, while others lose when increasing protein and decreasing fat? I’ve seen both happen but don’t know why one approach works for some women but not others.

The ones I’ve seen lose significant weight were eating leaner proteins when they lost weight like Kelly but eat higher fat now. But you need to eat higher fat when closer to maintenance. :)

Since I started carnivore two years ago, my fasting glucose level has been high. Does that mean my body is still running on glucose? My weight hasn't changed too much. Should I increase fat?

If you lower the dietary fat you will lose weight and lower blood glucose levels. :)

Craig is a wealth of knowledge & for me he was right. I'm a diabetic and have been a carnivore for over 8 years. My diabetes was getting worse every year that passed by. I couldn't lose weight. My blood sugars were at dangerous levels. My eye sight was bad.I was stopped from having my shoulder replaced as the consultant said it was far too dangerous with my blood sugars so high. The carnivore community kept saying eat fat as protein raises your insulin. I kept listening till I found Craig & Maria. What a god send they have been to my life. They have saved me, my eyes and limbs. I cut my fat down. I do psmf days and I lost weight. My blood sugars have gone down to a very respectable level. Well in all honesty I have halved my blood sugar levels & even more now. Research what they talk about. Yes you do get an insulin spike after protein but it is very short lived. When I eat a lot of dietary fat my blood sugars would be so high the next morning and for most of the day. I eat very little carbs so I just didn't understand why? I do now. Trust them ,try it. You will be pleasantly surprised. We are our own experiment. My insulin usage is down to a very minimal amount now. I'm packing on muscle. I had what they called diabetic burn out I was sick of being a diabetic. Now it's alot easier. It took a while to see the results by that I mean a few weeks not days. Good luck

@@benthompson9397 Thanks for your testimony! I'm so frustrated because I'm doing carnivore for almost 2 years and have yet to lose weight. I don't usually track my blood sugar because I'm not diabetic. I've had many improvements to my health but not weight loss. I add about 1 Tbs butter to my 2 meals a day because I thought that I have to. Now I'm not sure if I should just eat the meat with the fat that it has and skip the butter. I find that if I eat psmf, I usually get only 800 calories that day and I'm hungry which I'm ok with that if I'll lose. How many times a week do you do psmf days and what do you eat on those days?

Very informative Video Craig, I am wondering how do you know you are burning fat? Is it true that when you are burning fat you pee more frequently?

If you are hitting your protein goal each day, and strength training or doing yoga/stretch and are losing weight, then it mostly body fat you are losing. :)

I try to keep my fats in the 60 to 100 range as that seems to work good for me

It's even worse when they have the alphabet soup letters behind their name! Whatever "doctor" said that should be taken out to the woodshed! Thank you for staying the course all these years!

Yes that is common and one of the reasons we have clients go 100% dairy free for weight loss. :)

Dairy can drive hunger and cravings, which is why I recommend all my clients go 100% dairy free for weight loss :)

Asked with all respect (because I love you guys!) but do you think your lower fat approach has contributed to how overly lean you both have gotten? Also, higher fat is essential for mental health issues

And to add, we both eat a LOT of fat. We are in maintenance so we need to eat a lot more fat in the diet than someone trying to lose weight. :)

I don’t know why people think we follow the advice we give people trying to lose weight. We are in maintenance so don’t eat weight loss macros. I eat a lot of fat in my diet.
