The problem with floryn is her healing depends on her magic scaling. If you build tank), you won't heal much (relies on favour too much. If you build magic, everyone in the enemy one shots her. Also most of the time the heal is not enough or is too late. She's decent if there's a tank side laner and jungler (like in this video).

You are right. But she just need her s2 adjustment stun enemy's on hit. Her s2 has delay cast. Also one problem is she is squishy and you cant build magic iteam. If she gets atleast one more buff.She will probably became a meta support.

So here’s my observations… I think Floryn isn’t picked that often because her supporting abilities aren’t that good compared to Estes and Angela. Her first skill has a delay on cast, and it takes some time before the healing takes effect, plus it also has a range limit, so going too far away after casting your first skill on an enemy will remove the heal completely. And you can’t heal your teammates if there aren’t any enemies around, so if a low HP ally is dying from a burn effect or so, you cant really do anything. The heal is also cut to only 60% when used on a minion/creep instead of an enemy hero. It doesn’t even have any slow effect, so you can’t use your first skill to help your teammates chase down enemies. Her second skill takes some time to cast, so a simple dash skill can counter it. Often times you don’t even need a dash skill to counter it, just a single side step will do. And the cooldown takes so long also, compared to Estes’ second skill. All her skills have high mana cost so she has to go back to base frequently, she has no mobility (slow rotation), and it’s pretty much defeat for your team if your teammates are inexperienced. She’s extremely reliant on her teammates. She sacrificed one item slot for her Lantern of Hope (her first item slot), which technically is useless in late game compared to other magic-type items. It doesn’t even have a passive effect. Because of this, she can only build 4 items, excluding boots. And within those 4 slots, she has to balance between defensive items and magic items, and cooldown reduction also. At the end, she can only buy enchanted talisman, fleeting time, antique cuirass, and then athena’s shield. :/ Would be better if they gave her 6 free item slots instead of 5, so she can use it to buy either Oracle or any other additional item she might need. Her movement speed is slow so she can’t rotate that quickly, she can use her ultimate to assist teammates even when she isn’t there with them, but it has a long cooldown. Her skills deals extremely low damage from early to late game (unless you build full mage) too, so don’t expect her to deal that much damage, unlike Angela who can kill squishy MM and mage (lol) The flower of hope she gives to her ally has barely any effect on them. +250 HP, +10% Physical Attack and Magic Power is too low, the effect isn’t noticeable most of the time unless you give it to heroes with extremely high physical attack stats like Beatrix. They should buff it to +20% Physical Attack and Magic Power. Another thing that makes Floryn not a good support is that unlike Estes, she can’t save her teammates from instant burst combos like Beatrix with Wesker and one-shot combo mages like Eudora, Kagura, Vale, etc. Estes can use his ultimate and first skill and it would save his teammates most of the time. Floryn can’t do that because both her first skill and ultimate have a delay :/ and her “enhanced skills” arent that good, they just increased the range and called it an “enhanced skill” (ikr), unlike heroes like Dyrroth, Chang’e, Popol and Kupa, Paquito, Xavier, Zhask, Yin, and Atlas, where their enhanced skills do more than just increase range, but also increase damage, and overall it really improves their skills by a lot. But Floryn’s enhanced skills are just “bigger range” and not really improved. (Ok this is the last thing I have to say) If you made it this far, thanks for reading all of that xD. I’m not saying she’s a bad support, but there are better heroes out there than her. She is a good support, if you have good teammates. (I still like using her though because she’s really fun)

Floryn has some great qualities : - After Estes, she provides the most heal (skill 1 heals 5% lost hp, ult heals twice, edit - is not affected by anti-heal) - Her ult has global range - She has the best stun compared to the other healers

Here's the thing about Floryn why she ain't meta: 1. She can only buy 5 items (her passive item is just so bad) making her mediocre mage build or tank build. 2. Her 1st skill heal needs an enemy target, need to be in the hit range to be healed and slow animation to the point you will get killed before getting healed.

Some adjustments i want to see for her: - adjustment to passive, give more hp and maybe she shares 10% of her attributes received from items and emblems to the ally, since she relies so much on magic power. - i really like the experimental adjustment to her first and second skill where the first skill slows the enemy and the second skill stuns on hit. maybe they can also make her ult give allies immunity to cc abilities for a short time, she can be a free purify support. also make the second skill not stop when a minion is hit.

As a Floryn main, im happy with the adjustments that she's getting. The only problem that i can complain right now is her mana consumption, im playing her as a tank so my builds revolve around tank items and her mana cant keep up with the skills shes casting yes there's item like Thunder Belt to regain mana but that is not enough so. I pair it with Demon Shoes but my Floryn will be kind of squishy.

I love Floryn even if the other support healers are comparatively better. She's definitely helped me a lot in games where I've had to babysit one particular ally since she let me have a presence in teamfights without needing to be there 100% of the time. Ulting after respawn has come in clutch so many times

Short answer: *No.* Long answer: Her main heal as a supp sucks ass. It needs enemy target, must be within range, doesn't proc if it dies before skill1 hits. Did I mention it scales heavily on magic power? Mediocre scaling. If you want a healer, go for Rafa Estes or Angela. She feels so inferior to the latter 3.

Her extra item is good for the core, and she's very useful when you have a high lifesteal hero like alucard, ruby, Yu zhong, and she also removes the passive of dominance ice where it reduces attack speed and also at 1000 she removes anti heal when using ult and you'll be immune to anti heal for a few seconds, problem is that she can be bursted down easily when she's solo but a support going solo rarely happens

My build for Floryn is since this buff is Clock of Destiny, Demon Shoes w/ Favor, Oracle, Fleeting Time and any physical defense item of your choice, I personally love building Immortality and whenever I die, I sell then buy Athena’s. The reason why I build her with Clock of Destiny now is because she has higher heal when she have more magic power and CoD gives those plus mana and health which is a bonus adding it with Oracle which boosts her heal more and favor.

The extra item from floryn is only good if you built full damage item(full magic power/full physical item). If you play Tank jungle with full def, the damage doesn't really feel. They make Floryn's item only 5, because Floryn could literally provide +1 item to his ally, so it's balanced in term of item slot.

I mainly play floryn as a full support which leaves me to be 100% aware of the map, my positioning and where enemies could be hiding for an ambush. It's a total pain in the ass but as long as you have a friend or teammates (duo, trio etc) carrying the game then she's absolutely op else other than that i can't say much about the outcome.

build 3 defence [ specially oracle] and 2 magic item[ specially Fleeting Time.], tell your team to take heroes with lifesteal and tankyness like dyroth,esmenda,miya,moskov [with your ult heal they can often chance the situation of teamfights] etc and encourage them to buy immortallity since there is a chance they can successfully escape after they revive because of your heal and stun from 2nd skill and baam. but you should only take floryn if you have good hero line ups and 2 to 3 players with atleast 600+ matches.

Correct me if im wrong but i learned that in the upcoming new season, floryn will get buff again. Her First skill will have slow effect on enemies while 2nd skill have mini stun on first hit then another stun effect after that. The problem with the buff is that it's focused on magic scaling. So for me she is still the same since I prefer her tank build in this tank meta. Not sure if she can survive burst or tanks with magic build in this strange meta. Maybe if you tank jungler she could work. Saddest thing about floryn's 1st skill is when the target dies right away before the skill hit you won't receive the heal and the skill is on cooldown
