I would like to see one knock 'em down, drag 'em out big debate between the pro Fluoride & anti fluoride groups

My comment got immediately deleted but this is mortifying. Definitely not using fluoride toothpaste anymore 😨

All of this conflicting information about fluoride is very confusing. I was literally just reading that fluoride is a naturally occurring chemical and it has been scientifically proven to have oral health benefits. It comes from rocks, plants, soils, etc. Usually, there is not enough naturally occurring fluoride in tap water, which is why many communities have extra fluoride added to their water to increase the oral health benefits. Allegedly, the only people who should be avoiding fluoride are people who have an allergy to it. I'm so mentally exhausted from how nobody ever seems to be able to 100% agree on how bad or good ANYTHING is for you. What we collectively and allegedly "know to be true" seems to change every five goddamn minutes.

There is no debate on the benefits of fluoride for the teeth. There is also no debate on the adverse effects of ingesting fluoride, which can be orally or through the skin. I hope that clarifies your confusion!

@@stephencabral So, are you saying that it's both good and bad, depending on the situation? It's safe and beneficial, as long as it isn't ingested incorrectly?

You make some pretty strong claims but you don't cite a single piece of scientific information to back up your claims or reference a single study in your description section to back up your claims. There have been many studies about toxicity levels of fluoride and safety levels but you don't mention even one of them. I'm not pro or anti fluoride, yet..., but I do try to make informed decisions about my health on science and facts and not just what a naturopathic practitioner says about a topic without any basis in science or even anecdotal evidence. Sorry, but I can't recommend this video to anyone who wants factual information about fluoride.

All of the scientific research studies are provided in the show notes of the podcast. You can find four of these on fluoride at StephenCabral.com/1713 🌟
