Is free Magnetic case making DJI Action2 Heating issue worst?

Heyo! In this video, I'm unboxing DJI Action 2 magnetic case, which ships free for fixing the heating issue. However, the case seems to be making the problem worst with heating issues.
Update: In the video, the magnetic case was not detected so result is not better than without case. I did another round of testing and made sure the magnetic case is detected with the prompt “Magnetic Protective Case installed” on turning on the camera and the result then seems better with the case. please see video here • DJI Action 2 magnetic ...

Hi, there. Please rest assured that the installation of the DJI Action 2 Magnetic Protective Case will not affect the heat dissipation. After updating the DJI Action 2 firmware to V01.03.30.20, the camera unit will automatically detect the installation status of the magnetic protective case. After the protective case is mounted, a “Magnetic Protective Case installed” prompt will be displayed in the camera unit, activating a heat control solution that increases recording length under normal conditions.

Hello! thanks for your comment. I can assure you that i upgraded the camera firmware to V01.03.30.20 and there was a prompt after installing the magnetic case still the recording length was decreased. I will try to analyze the problem in detail soon. thanks!

@@DJITutorials I did another round of test with magnetic case and this time making sure the “Magnetic Protective Case installed” prompt appears before the test. The results are better with the case this time kzbin.infoftcYwF03t7o

The real problem is that sometimes the case is not detected when turning on the camera 😥

I would also like to try it but outside temperature is -5 C so not sure you want to see the results in cold?
