Look, they’re going to put an audio animatronic of him in an attraction at Disneyland. Even after he said himself when he was alive that he did not want something like that of him, along with his daughter and granddaughter. But they’re doing it anyway. So I wouldn’t be surprised with anything that Disney does to trash Mr. Walt’s legacy. Thanks for the video.

"Frontier Land" represents cowboys and Indians, it represents manifest destiny and the march westward. It's a Midwest adventure. It's also a connection to Walt himself and the very dedication statement on the plaque in Disneyland. Burbank sees all of this as being a very bad thing in 2025. Modern Burbank is against the "values" that the American Midwest historically stood for. Yes,..American history MUST be purified. This also includes Tom Sawyer, Huk Finn and Mark Twain too. Burbank is just committing arson on this company's history and they do it gladly. "Story's Matter" folks...so sad.

You are correct. Years ago Disney corporate made the decision to remove Frontierland because it is problematic. To them it represents the systematic genocide of the first peoples and the colonization of Mexican territory. Frontierland is toast.

Even territorial animals to the same things with each other. The list of tribal wars were the land went to the victor is endless and happened in every inch on planet Earth. American Indian tribes murdered each other and fought and stole land from each other. This happened. Why try and erase that?

@CLIFFLIX I'm just telling you what I heard from Disney Corporate years ago at the height of the reaction to the Floyd situation. Splash Mountain had to go and Frontierland had to go. The people who made those decisions are still there and I'm sure they believe now what they believed then.

I hope it's because they are putting new signs but if this is a sign that they are removing it then Disney continues to shoot themselves in the foot. It's like they see Epic and then they say "let's give them more people to go to their new park".

I like to say this, Disney should expand the idea of frontier land and make it an escape from modern society and to live in (albeit a romanticized version) the Wild West away from modern stresses, also bring the idea of Discovery Bay to life that would also fit rivers of America, but it can still be called rivers of amarica.

Lucky I took my kids to Disney as it almost was the way it was when I was little. It was a heart warming moment when I took my son on the Dumbo ride. At this point I think Disney is just throwing Jello on the wall and see what sticks. They just build something anywhere with no forward thought. Prices continue to go up, perks go down and it seems the crowd level is also going down. I wouldn't be surprised if they make it where you have to be a Vacation club owner to even get into the parks.

1. At this point I would not put it at all past them to take more than a year to fix a simple sign - was the facade of that shop in HS ever fixed? And you literally just talked about the Epcot walkway lighting…smh 2. If they’re wanting to go away from the idea of Frontierland to accommodate Cars or to modernize or whatever, how the heck does a bayou play into that? As in, what could they possibly be changing it to with the attractions currently over there (unless Tiana and BTMRR will somehow be lumped into Liberty Square or Adventureland and/or they and everything from the Rivers any beyond will become something else🤔🤔)

I quite agree power tools and not the way to refurbish powertoois destroy you just need to sand and paint maybe and maybe even add some lights for the sign to be visible at night.

Magic kingdom is part of my childhood. Having said that, I'm perfectly fine with the changes and the addition of cars attractions. Walt's original vision of the park is preserved in disneyland ca, which was his original park and the one walt himself actually stepped foot in. Magic kingdom does not need to be an exact clone of disneyland and has the freedom venture outside it. That's just my take it on, which I'm sure many will disagree with.

A cars attraction in that area is absolutely stupid. Makes no sense. It would make slightly more sense to just make radiator springs back there but a one off stuck next to Tiana, big thunder mountain, haunted mansion, and liberty square… that’s not Disney. I can tell you with confidence Walt would think it’s dumb too because it’s clearly a knee jerk to keep shareholders happy
