It really sucks. After Malbs and Snax came to G2, they started winning more and it felt like things were clicking. All G2 had to do was lock in on their strats and teamwork but after the news of Niko leaving came, it seemed to negatively effect Monesy. I mean, they finally got a chance at the Major and Monesy just didn't give us his usual performance. It's really unfortunate. I just don't think Niko should have left. However, it's hard to blame any of these guys. I mean, they have to make sure they have enough money to retire and transfer into another life style once they're done. I can't blame Niko at all.

it was reported two years ago that g2 were paying niko 50k pm, that money is more than enough to last his retirement, this is only counting his g2 salary and not anything he's made from sponsors and tournament and previous org salary. he spoke recently that he was frustrated with his first 2 years at g2 considering they didnt win anything.

We honestly took g2 for granted. Such a great top 3 team. Its been years of contention at the highest level from a gallery of players under that banner, and it's sad to lose a championship contender. Hopefully a bounce back in their future, very talented players.

​@@S0lo-332 snax is individually bad, yet it is hunter and malbs who are below him on the table and under 1kd. They didnt turn up against VP, which is why they lost mirage and there wasnt a 3rd map. During last tournament snax was bad, it happens. But hunter malbs and even m0nesy have been too inconsistent lately. Despite that, all the blame falls on snax, which is just unfair.

My read on the game from an eye test is that G2's protocols of what to do during their calls have been really shaky with the new roster, might be because Snax doesn't like to micro very much, but I think it can definitely bite them in the ass like this VP game.
