I game to live so I can forget everything in life at that moment and to just enjoy something. No matter what’s going on it helps me. Always

You're using gaming as an escape from reality and avoiding your problems in life this is what gaming does, there's only going through life no way around it to truly live a fulfilling life that gives you happiness and not short term pleasure like games give you.

Loving the editing. This is very weird because I was joking with a friend of mine only yesterday about this topic for "if we had to do a Ted talk", and you make some valid points.

Nice video, it ties with a lot of the things I believe about gaming. I enjoy speedrunning my favourite childhood games and breaking them apart. It is so rewarding for me when I get a good run or discover new things that playing casually is kinda ruined for me now since it's not as rewarding.

video games bring me serotonin depending on what I play. Getting a lot of kills on Call of Duty or enjoying the graphics and music of a Final Fantasy game
@itsgabibelle4 жыл бұрын
YESSS. for me it’s more the graphics and music and immersion in the game i’m playing that helps me relax

hey, great video and thank you for some useful knowledge! though i have kinda different problem with gaming - usually i'm the one telling myself that gaming is a waste of time (even though i know it's not really true) and when sometimes i finally find some time to play a game i don't really feel this satisfaction and relaxation, because these feelings are being supressed by guilt and feeling like i should do something more productive

Point and click adventure games are very relaxing for me, plus I love the storytelling often in them. This year has had some great ones! Perfect Tides, NORCO, Syberia 3, Crowns and Pawns, and Voodoo Detective.

Fran Bow is my all time favourite Point n Click. By this point I know all the riddles by heart, but I still go back to it. Highly recommend. (Content warning: It has that 50s asylum aesthetic and can get pretty gory)

Couldn't agree more with you. Gaming is very important for people and it's isn't the same as watching tely for a couple of hours but watching TV is socially accepted but gaming isn't. I just wish I had more people to play games with

This is absolutely awesome! I love the positivity angle of video games. All we hear is people telling us how bad video games are. But you know what? Video games make my life better. It makes me happy. Why do boomers always want to take that away?! Video games are extremely important for introverts. Yes you can escape and be excited about life when you find life dull and boring and depressive. Also, 1:38 dis you? 5:45 LOL!

Gaming really is the best. Just Cause 3 is my personal favourite. Giant open world with no rules, you can kill enemies/free bases in so many different ways and get creative. The grapple, wing suit, and variety of weapons is unlike anything else. I get a huge sense of joy and freedom everytime I play it.

Hi, I mostly game between the age of 15-18 And in that time a lot of important social stuff happens. For example there is dance calss, which i did not go to because i would rather play league of legends. And i also stopped going to football because of gamimng. Sure i was not really good at football (soccer) and not really extroverted, but i missed out on a lot of stuff. So one can argue that i would anyway not go the the dance class and do something different. However you rob yourself of the chance of making something social in real life. ending on a positive note I had a lot of fun when gaming with friends, but maybe dial back the amound of gaming time, when given a second chance.
