This is the best film I have ever seen on this important subject. Thank you all so much for your enormous efforts. Very valuable material. Everyone should see this. I have something to add: The building up of ice in the northern hemisphere during the rain about the arctic polar night lasting 40 days and nights should be seen as a consequence of the collapse of the stratospheric gaseous water and beginning of the Northern ice-age at the same time (later part of 4th millenium bce acc. to LXX, codices, and Flavius Josephus). Not two separate events. Melt water pulses decades and even centuries after the flood. Congratulations and much gratitude!

This is awesome! While I believe in God, I have wondered how geologists have come up with dates and they seem to contradict what the Bible tells us. I tend to calm my brain with blind faith and God has given humans the brains to figure it all out. What you have said about the mountain building happening after the floods make a lot of sense to me! Could tectonics and the formations of todays islands and continents only have occurred during or after Noah’s global flood???… I recall videos from KZbinr “Gutsick Gibbon” about the energy and resultant globally destroying heat that would entail - that even creation believers haven’t been able to deny. Also, how is there intermittent globally devastating volcanic and meteoric layers across the world, with combinations of sedimentary layers in between (including their different orientations and erosion before new layers etc) since or during Noah’s flood??? These layers only containing “kinds” of life (including as small and boyant as spores and pollens) only in certain earlier layers. Also confirmed in ice layers counting far older than biblical creation with same volcanic ash, spores, pollens etc. There is no record of any globally devastating volcanic or meteoric events since Noah’s flood (or creation) in the bible, or from any civilisation. No big meteoric, and only a few significant (but non-globally devastating) volcanic events

Mrb Don’t forget the U.S. navy look at 1500 Ad Turkish maps that showed an ice free Antarctica and artic. The navy said the maps basically were right showing the edge of the land if there were no ice there today. Just cause there’s ice miles thick doesn’t mean it took thousands of years to form. There’s tons of assumptions scientists gets people to believe is true with zero questions. Heck when I was in school I learned Native Americans came across an ice bridge. There was zero lessons on actual Native American oral histories like the Paiutes telling how they killed a taller redheaded race. But serious if there was an ice bridge and massive glaciers 10,000 years ago then ocean levels would have been down 400 foot or whatever which totally would have changed the map of migration of native Americans from Asia. Even the movie kon tiki shows how a phd student proved it’s possible to ride ocean currents from Latin America to Polynesia. But I’m more skeptical of academia purely cause they make zero sense on lots of things. Easter islands statues have beards. Native Americans can’t grow beards. Allegedly though if there were red headed Native American tribes like the Paiutes say perhaps since they were different genetics they had beards. If not that then bearded statues on Easter island makes me wonder if there was global trade thousands of years ago.

Great documentary I am in the middle of a trip in Utah and Colorado and see these folds everywhere and have the same conclusions This work tested the assumptions of long held beliefs and showed them to be inconsistent with observations they discovered. Many scientists say that science is constantly changing, but this is a paradigm shift that has many domino effects. If these events happened with malleable sediments then these layers were placed over a short period of time. An honest assessment has to recognize these implications. It is overwhelming to consider how much water was present and the catastrophic forces that took place.

Lol Good question Not a problem for "normal" or "real" history, but quite a conundrum for young earth believers... The giza pyramids and great sphinx are conventionally dated around 2400-2500 bc, so I guess they were built right before the flood? What about catal huyuk? Or ohalo 2? Or karahan tepe? Or gobekli tepe? What about the yangshao culture in China? The ubaid period in mesopotamia? The folsom culture in North America? The yamnaya? Etc... how would a young earther fit what we see in history into just 6,000 years?

I keep hearing the phrase, "...at the end of the flood,,," I would postulate, that much of the tectonic movement occurred "during the flood" stage. Imagine the inherent buoyancy of any matter while submerged in water, subduction and slipping is very much facilitated by the lubricity of water! Once the waters begin to subside, then I imagine valleys sink out, and mountain ranges emerge to prominence. But, It's all good brothers & sisters!! :D When Noah stepped out of the ark, I think the land was in utter chaos!! No 7-Elevens ANYWHERE!!! I leave you with the question I've considered since I was a boy, 'How much water, during the flood, are we talking about on the face of the earth?'

I think the flood itself was mostly movement of the cust on either side of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and the Marrianas Trench, but a close reading of Genesis reveals that the land was divided in the time of Peleg. That makes sense if you consider that the flood was mostly replacing the seafloor, which was more buoyant and rode higher on the mantle, raising sea level, causing the land to be submerged. The water bursting from the crust added to the water volume, increasing the weight on the seafloor. The continental crust is thicker and stronger. As the seafloor cooled, fresh faultlines were created, dragged apart, as the seabed dropped lower and lower, opening up space for the contents to be ripped apart, with big earthquakes, and the continents crashing into each other, some subducting, built mountains. I like volcanoes and geology. The flood is the best explanation for the geological features around the world.

I have always objected to the secular world describing creation as something separate from scientific fact, simply because they don't understand the Bible. Many Christians themselves who also don't understand the Bible have fallen for this. When God was explaining the history of the world to Moses, he knew Moses couldn't understand billions of years but he could understand a sequence. This happened first, on the next day this happened next, on the next day... The point is the sequence. Genesis says the Earth was molten in the beginning. Can you imagine that accuracy in a book written 4000 years ago? If the Bible had the animals come before the fish we might have a problem between the Bible and science. We don't. The Bible clearly explains life started in the water, then the land an air, man the final most evolved creation. The one with the cerebral cortex that made him smart enough to understand somebody created him. To wonder about the universe around him. If you want to know how God would speak to people, look at how Jesus spoke, he was God. He said I am the gate, I am the door. Was he a gate? Was he a door? He spoke in parables just like the ones in Genesis. There's a multitude of wisdom throughout Genesis as there are in jesus's parables.

Science uses carbon 14 for dating, but they can not prove that the carbon 14 decay rate has remained constant from the beginning. Biblical dating is 100% accurate, whether you believe it or not. The continents all broke apart and moved to where we see them today, forming the mountains and canyons all in about one year while the waters were on the Earth. The ice age was at the end of the flood. It too would have formed canyons, valleys, and such.

The fact that every religion, and more importantly, every culture has not only Flood stories, but also Creation stories, adds further evidence that these two events really occurred. By this I mean, the actual events are the source for these cultural stories rather than thinking these various cultures some how all devised these types of stories randomly yet independently from each other, and somehow their stories focused on the Flood and Creation. It seems a lot more logical to think there is a common source for the multiple stories, varied that they are, than to think all these stories arose on their own yet “miraculously” focused on Creation and the Flood. Yet, that is the problem with Evolution in the first place. Evolution takes the variations as having evolved from one natural source, randomly being the key idea here, rather than thinking the variations came from One Creator, a Creator who used a common theme to develop His art work. If we listen to a piece of music we never heard before, but have enough background in music to understand that the features of this new piece seems like it was written by Beethoven for example, we can identify within the piece the reasons why we think Beethoven composed it, melodic shape, chord progressions, rhythmic structure, instrumentation, etc. enough detail to determine that it was not from Mozart or even a contemporary of Beethoven. The artwork requires an artist and the artwork expresses the mind of the artist as individual as from another artist with a different mind. Except now this Artist is the God of the universe with a mind like nothing we can comprehend. He is transcendent from His artwork just as Leonardo da Vinci is not his Mona Lisa.

Is Genesis History was one of the very first films or docs i seen for creation science. I had to watch it many times because i did not understand what i was seeing/hearing because i believed in the long ages. Praise the LORD for people like Del Taket and Andrew Snelling and a whole host of people ive come to know of the last 8 years roughly. You have to purposely push this stuff away to not believe it, because if you actually listen, you can see its the truth. The thing that blew my mind the most was the soft dinosaur tissue. You realize there are over 200 different flood stories from around the world. The difference is, a lot of them have things in them that can't happen. Like one has the boat in dimensions that would make it flip over real easy. You have study things in depth to find the truth. People like to throw one piece of something out and they think they have done something world renowned scientists haven't done, disprove Christianity lol. One thing I've learned in the past 7 or 8 years is the secular world likes to be misleading. Just do a real deep dive into evolution. Look for any real evidence that truly substantiates it, you won't find any.

The Bible is a remix of much more ancient texts/tablets from around the world. This means words often have multiple meanings determined by context. Day - yom is commonly rendered as day in English translations, but the word yom can be used in different ways to refer to different time spans thus literally is: Sunrise to sunset Sunset to next sunset Time period of unspecified length.
