Cool to hear DD2 referenced. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person who loved that game. It has its share of issues, to be certain, but it’s exactly what I look for - huge/lush world that rewards exploration, cool unlockable skills & RPG elements, and not terribly difficult. It’s hard for me to find games that meet those criteria consistently. Elden Ring is beautiful but I suck and the difficulty level took the fun out of it for me. No Elder Scrolls on the horizon at present. DD2 was fantastic but I blazed thru it in under 2 weeks lol. Diablo IV was very fun but minimal replay value so far (being another one I sunk a lot of time into, but post endgame content was lackluster at best…) I haven’t yet played Ghost of Tsushima, but based on this video, it sure sounds like I should… Really cool/informative video, btw - I watched the GameRanx one on this game’s PC release and a few others… your video was by far the most informative, passionate, & well presented. Subbed hard! 😊

Silly question, but I know it's a rhetorical one. Ghost of Tsushima will hold up for a number of entire console generations to come, no question. There would have to be several big technological leaps to improve gaming beyond a game like GoT for it to be "not worth playing." I mean big breaks on the same scale as things like ray tracing and the mainstream jump from 30 fps to 60 on consoles. Big changes would need to develop in order for the literal best games of today to be left behind.

I think the biggest improvements we can get in a sequel are one, true stealth gameplay. Let us hide bodies, have proper alarms, build certain missions to BE stealth oriented and not just "you fail" if your discovered instead you get jumped by 30 enemies. Also give us prone crawls and smarter enemies and sniping from those positions. For combat stances need to be completely reworked and be either like nioh ones or rise of ronin ones..stances that do nothing new makes no sense. Give us mor3 input moves, maybe give us duels that we can use tools and yet the boss STILL can push you to the edge.

Everyone is talking about the character in AC shadows but no one is talking about how it's gonna be a generic open world RPG bad combat and outfits or weapons as dlc like the last few AC games and Ubisoft games in general. Even if the protagonist was Japanese, the game will still have these problems. Especially since we don't own the games we buy and how they can remove it like they did with the crew. Well anyways Can't wait to grind to level 60 just to kill a boss and probably not be at a higher level to use the weapon they have and not use it after a few minutes lmao

And I did see a few Japanese people upset about it. On Facebook a Japanese guy did go on a huge rant about it and saying they got sideline and even said they ruined the shogun show when they introduced white people in it and that everytime there's something about Japan from America, they always managed to squeeze in foreigners. And even said they didn't do a good job because there was Chinese stuff or something like that in the game trailers and they didn't even do their good enough research. I'm not joking. A Japanese on Facebook said this. It should still be on it. It's on the trailer for the game but on Facebook. But all I can say is that I don't know much about this whole thing

@@altonb.1396 The last three entries for AC have all featured a dual cast of characters, one male and one female. People losing their minds over the female option is honestly just ridiculous. Now I do think casting Yasuke as the samurai option is rather odd and definitely screams more DEI points. Every game in this series has typically featured people of the race of the region they are in e.g. based in Italy = Native italian (Ezio Auditore), Greece = native greek's (Alexios and Kassandra). Now if Yasuke ends up being an interesting character in the game, then that could be great. But why do they suddenly feel the need to change this? Why not create these characters if they decide to do an African AC game, because that actually sounds like an awesome setting.
