wonder how we get oxygen at winter when all the tree and plants don’t have leaves? and most of land with plants is on the north side? i looked up. some answer saids actually the sea produces most of oxygen so it doesn’t matter, some saids amazon in the south produce most of oxygen(it is summer while winter here). i even saw answer that in the summer trees create so much oxygen during the summer that it last through the whole winter. whatever the answer is it doesn’t make sense that summer is getting hotter and winter is still cold during the winter if the reason is CO2… if CO2 is the problem the winter should get warmer and warmer. in winter we produce more CO2 then any season, there isn’t any tree that can change CO2 to O2, it should be way warmer than now… i am not saying there isn’t a global warming. but there are other studies like there are cycles that earth just creates lot of methane gas and we are in that cycle, or sun getting more black spots, and there was a really big volcanic explosion in the middle of ocean that released incredible amount of water in the air that the atmosphere currently has higher moister than usual etc. and the world are spending way too much money, effort, and regulation on CO2 alone…

Do I agree with him? Hmmm. Yes I think he is describing a human folly some fall into. As a young man I remember having that knee jerk reaction: we have to save the world. 50 years later my reaction is more like: I want my children and grandchildren to have the same, or better, quality of life than me. From this perspective it becomes one of what I can control and what I can’t and the older I get the more I agree with George-trying to stop us from going extinct is pretty much out of our control. His point about us being the earth’s way of getting plastics is so hysterical and poignant. In my opinion he was greatest philosopher of my time. I used to sneak out of room in high school in the 90s to watch his HBO specials. A lot of my humor was born from watching him I believe in climate change, just not fully the man made climate change he brilliantly brought up. How in 200 years of industry are we gonna change the climate? In the 70s the "experts" said global cooling was gonna happen. Then we had the 80s and the hole in the ozone layer and acid rain was gonna kill us. Of course the 90s came and it was now call global warming and "experts" said Florida and NYC were gonna be submerged under water and into the 2000s with Al Gore movie An Inconvenient Bullshit, I mean Truth came out. Then, like the governing powers like to do, they changed the language. So now it's not not global warming anymore. It's global climate change. Those who control the language, control the people. If people read George Orwell's 1984 they'd know this.
