We had a lot of fun just blowing off steam and hanging out together, and our female coworkers would join us quite a bit. They enjoyed the camaraderie as much as we did. We went so often that the dancers would just hang out with us on the smokers patio from time to time. Would you say seeing a burlesque show would be cheating? How about a twerk dance? An erotic movie? Any kind of suggestive content? I wouldn't count getting a lap dance as cheating, unless there was a massage, etc. included. Or some kind of relationship with the dancer. But I agree it would definitely be disrespectful towards you for breaking your trust and the boundaries of your relationship, at least if he knew your opinion about it, and if you had an agreement about such things beforehand. Those things need to be communicated about, because different people have differing views about morality. But trust is indeed a very difficult thing to mend, once it has been broken. I think the ambiguity around whether or not stripping is sex work comes down to the fact that there is contact and requests that are ultimately for sexual gratification, but are not literally sex. I think cheating varies from place to place and person to person . E.g in japan the husband has to like participate in many business deals which are mostly done in that closed shack with a saki and then the clients may have a prostitute and sometimes to not make the clients feel bad the husband who is hosting them fro the company also has to go thorugh it .and when asked to their wives if its cheating most said she wouldnt consider it cheating if there is no relationship between the prostitute and husband while many also said its cheating . Now if u went fo conservative countries even seen by another man or stranger is cheating or getting touched by someone even if it isnt appropriate and then comes the middle ground . I for one will consider it cheating and wouldn't want my partner to do that but i can understand if some people doesnt consider it that . If it works for them ,then good for them
@小鹿-p8f2 ай бұрын
an interesting thing i'm getting from the comments is that everyone sort of missed the part where she talked about men *spending money* to see women strip. it's not about watching women dance naked, you can do that at home for free. i also know that many women (not all ofc) wouldn't consider their SO watching adult videos as cheating. The reason this is different is because the man is going there specifically to spend large sums of money on another woman. i can imagine that especially if the finances are shared, and if they have children, this feels like a huge betrayal unless it was agreed on. also people thinking men going to strip clubs is equally "cheating" as what strippers do again miss that point. for a stripper, it's a job. it's her livelihood. she gets something from it that isn't sexual or emotional. but a man goes there for a service and pays a lot for it. why can't he get the same service from his partner for free? of course it's sending the message that the partner isn't sexy or desirable enough, which is more or less the whole point of why people feel cheated. so no, she is not contradicting herself and she is not hypocritical, a lot of people just seem to think that strippers walk around the streets hitting up married men so they can dance for them for free. and it's because a lot of people still struggle to understand that for a lot of people sex work and/or other forms of adult work is just that - work. and i get it, a lot of people can't imagine doing something like that so impersonally, but trust me, there are people that can. but at the end of the day, what constitutes cheating is actually quite individual and these boundaries aren't something that should be assumed but something that should be discussed and communicated. we're all different, sex means different things to us all. what might not seem like a big deal to me might be a big deal to my partner so just talk about these things early on in the relationship

8:30 thank you, "most strippers" (who talked about this in videos etc) deny it entirely although it's different for everyone but overall i think most would consider it cheating and that's why it wouldn't be an option to go to a strip club while in the relationship. and for me tho the problem (she said it isn't the first problem for her) is that the significant other looks at naked or half naked bodies.. like.. why do you need to make yourself horny or admire a strangers body when you got someone you hopefully love and admire at home? i just don't get it and never will. if you're single and even as a single woman, sure, go have fun but like.. in a relationship?? and if it's not communicated at all? although i really think it's weird to do it even tho you have a "happy relationship" bc it doesn't and never will match with my morals and expectations in a relationship. idk, maybe you guys see it differently or the same. let me know, i think it's a very interesting topic.
@lb90299 ай бұрын
Well that's all under the assumption that humans are monogamous animals, which I think, given the amount of people who cheat or are in poly relationships, we have enough evidence to say that that's not true. Another assumption here would be that love has a one on one relation to sex, which is also not something I believe in. It's very natural for people to have sexual fantasies that are not about their partner. In fact, if that were not the case, I'd probably find that a bit weird or even creepy. As for communicating this sort of thing: yes, it's obviously better to communicate these things clearly. And if you can't, you should work on that. But if you're unable to communicate (lots of people aren't great at it), and the net outcome of secretly going to a strip club once in a while is that you don't physically or mentally abuse your partner, that's probably a less destructive way, I'd argue. Of course, that's also a sign that you've got important issues you need to work on. It's just that there are a lot of people with issues, and a large percentage of them will never resolve them.

There is nothing inherently wrong with stripping or sex work. The only problem is the stigma created by people's perception(which has its roots in religion). Our genitals are just another part of the body. Why can't we work with them just as we do with other body parts? All jobs are about selling your body after all, it's just a question of which part. 🤷♂️

12:00 baby, you work in a strip club, of course that's the kind of men you'll see. None of the men in my circle go to strip clubs. It's a very niche subculture. Judging all men by how some men behave in a strip club is like judging all women by how some women behave around red lights... silly. Avoid absolutes, there's not a single thing that every man or woman enjoys. Someone won't like it someone will. We're individuals. 13:45 are male strippers judged too? This is not a sex issue, but a career choice. Traditionally strippers aren't seen as reliable people.

shes very wrong on a lot of things lol, it absolutely is sex work, you are collecting money from people by dancing sexually. theres a reason its 18+, its absolutely easy money as well. you are dancing for a living and you said yourself you can sometimes earn £2000 in a single night. its absolutely easy money (which funnily enough sex work always is). you get paid very highly for dancing and looking sexy. (and she also said its easy for her to be on a stage naked) lots of contradictions going on here.
@autobootpiloot5 ай бұрын
Is a job still easy when it’s mentally draining? I would say it’s very difficult for sex workers to keep a good and realistic view of the world. That makes is very difficult to do the job properly but it’s easy money if you do the job poorly. Poorly meaning destroying yourself in the process.
@rhyswhittington87595 ай бұрын
@@autobootpiloot id argue almost all sex workers destroy themselves in the process. i wasnt talking about whether its an easy job or not, i was talking about whether its an easy job for the money you get which it absolutely is. requires absolutely no skill and you can earn an absolute fucktonne of money if you are good looking.

@@rhyswhittington8759 you are so wrong about it not requiring any skill. keeping those men entertained, talking to them, pretending you like them and are enjoying your time etc, it's all actually really hard work even if you disregard the dancing aspect. personally, i wouldn't mind undressing for others, the part that would kill me would be all the interactions, and even more so the flattery and other sales tactics. also assuming "all" sex workers destroy themselves assumes they all have the same attitude towards sex/stripping/ etc that you do (presumably) which they don't. sex isn't a huge deal or even an intimate thing for everyone

The answer to the question about whether it is cheating for a man to travel to a club that exists solely to entice predominantly males to pay money to watch females (who the men are not married to) strip naked for their sexual pleasure.. comes down to either 1) each person's subjective opinion without God, or 2) some absolute moral standard given by the moral authority that created everything and defines what is right and wrong, i.e., God. If we go based on the standard that Jesus described in Matthew 5:28, then it would be "cheating" in God's sight if someone were to oogle at the naked body of a woman that is not his wife. Just because an urge exists does not mean that it is morally right (in God's sight) to act upon it.

(10:47) Just be who you want to be, ignore responsibility or consequences... the logic seems broken to me. (12:17) Maybe you should try looking for normal men outside of a strip club? And why are you judging them, if you yourself said you would like women to be able to do whatever and not be judged for it? Or should only women be exempt from judgement? (13:14) She is just so used to twisting her logic to suit whatever narrative she wants. She's trying to equate working as a stripper to watching a stripper. I'm sure if a male has a stripper job on his CV, he will get the same attitude at the bank as a female stripper. Don't conflate. Isn't there a difference between a drug dealer and a drug user?
