Honestly, at this point i just hope the future of ANY animation is driven by artists and not prompts.

I don’t know why you’re not more popular. You create the EXACT videos I need. I just started learning blender with intention of using 2d as opposed to 3d. Your videos were lifesavers to get me to figure this software out! Better than making a donut honestly

Is it possible to document an entire course in blender

it's in my plans
@ViridianRainIIV7 ай бұрын
The glow effect you mentioned at 3:30 can be done by making an adjustment layer in after effects, add curves and adjust the RBG values, add fast box blur set the amount to 10 then layer mode to screen.

oh i see, didn't know that thanks

One possible reason why the colors are different when you eyedrop them in blender, It’s probably because your color management in the renter tab properties. Is set to AGX or filmic by default. You need to set it to standard.
@djambart2216 ай бұрын
It was already set to Standard, i found later that it was just because of my reference image's quality. I didn't have this problem with the second drawing

how easy is the layer? have you finish any 5 min animations yet?
@djambart2214 ай бұрын
Layers are actually easy, they work the same as on other drawing softwares. No not yet 5 min of animations could take more than a month of work so i mostly make short animations to practice more efficiently

tbh, i use both blender and clip studio, they both have pro's and cons. I hate finishing an animation in grease pencil, but it's good for the beginning stages like storyboarding and animatics. Clip studio is definitely better for cleaner lines, easier coloring, better effects due to having more layer types etc.
@djambart2217 ай бұрын
i agree, i had that worklow for an old project. I wish Gr Pencil had some of Clip studios' features
@DimiArt7 ай бұрын
@@djambart221 yeah same here, i wish the 2 companies would just merge and give us the best of both worlds. Imagine clip studio paint with the 3D capabilities of blender & Grease pencil. Either way they work great together.

I've been trying to document entire course when trying to learn blender for the first time and I've failed. what advice can you give me?
@djambart2216 ай бұрын
It's difficult to say without knowing what type of course you were following or how you were documenting it. But if you're trying to learn anything new as a beginner, it's always better to start slowly and then build your way up.
@stanley5106 ай бұрын
it was a course by crossmind studios the full character course. I tried the advice that you gave from the previous other video of writing it down but it seems to be a slow and tiresome technique what advice do you have for me?
@djambart2216 ай бұрын
@@stanley510 You don't have to write the whole course down, just take notes for things that you think you may forget if you were to do it again. It's normal that it feels slow or tiring. Anything worth getting requires hard work. Just take it one step at a time, don't expect to become instantly good after watching one video. Break down the course into small bits and each time you finish one (for example learning how to model the head) try to do it by yourself using your notes if needed. And then repeat it until the end of the course. It's probably going to take longer than you expect, but that's how it is. Good things take time.

thank you very much.

Can the Build modifier work on other Blender creations or only Grease Pencil? Eg. I sculpt, can it make a timelapse of the sculpt?

You mentioned you had trouble with matching the colors. Be sure to check your color space under the color management tab. It may be that the color space is different.

I think your Monkey drawing is actually more appealing. Have you tried bluring the grease pencil lines slightly in the compositor? I've found that helps so it doesn't look so flat.

thanks, i have not i was thinking about changing the opacity or the colors but blurring them could work aswell
