I was recently in a beauty/spa place and all the young women there looked exactly the same! Same lips, same eye shape, same defined cheekbones, same long hair, same make-up, and the same ‘I’ve had work done, now stare at me and guess?’ look. It’s today’s reality, I know, but it makes me grateful that I’m an 80’s/90’s girl!

I think her nose job was too drastic. Even though she had a small bulb, the bone structure of her nose was already very thin and uneven. Post surgery, it now looks way too thin and even more uneven. It reminds me of Tori Spelling pre and post nose job. They both would have looked better with their natural noses. Poor Hailey is always posing from the side of her nose that is not too thin, because she looks odd from the other side. I see Hailey as an example of why one shouldn't get a nose job. There are nose jobs gone right, like Ashlee Simpson. After her nose job, she went from average looking to beautiful. It seems like there are more cases of nose jobs gone wrong, like Jennifer Grey. Post nose job, she looked like a completely different person and has said she thinks that decision cost her the career path she was on. Most of the Kardashians look better post nose jobs (so it is possible to get a good result), but I think Kim has done too many nose jobs now and no longer has a cute nose.

Great video. She had a subtle nose job, eye brow lift eyelid surgery and lip filler. No one will convince me otherwise, so Hailey cult members don’t @ me. I didn’t realize she had cheek filler, but yes, it looks like it after watching this analysis. I get so annoyed when people overline their lips and it's just so visible. The border if the lip isn't just colour so now it just looks like you have smudged your lipstick. I so hope that trend is over soon, it's gone on way too long. Bring back a sharp defined, unenhanced lip.

There’s a lot of makeup trends I don’t care for, like “fluffy eyebrows” or greasy eyebrows. But I don’t usually define them as annoying. And even though I’m not the biggest fan of the over-lined lips trend, it’s not annoying by any means.
@Iflie

@@Ren-er7fg I agree. Makeup/beauty trends come and go and they don't bother me at all, and I definitely don't find them annoying. I find it all utterly fascinating. @@Iflie why not? Bc it’s harmless. And if someone chooses to color outside of the lines it’s not problem, whether it’s on purpose or accident. It’s makeup for a reason… I just think people like you are way too opinionated on how others like to appear. If you don’t like the trend, don’t do it yourself. But if someone’s walking around with over lined lips and you’re annoyed you need to work on yourself.

I started taking collagen years ago for a knee injury, after the age of 25 your body stops producing it, and that's why people start to get squeaky and things start to hurt more and more as you get older,,, well my knee that was so bad I couldn't walk on it and was going to need surgery is now fine, Additionally the collagen cured my bleeding ulcer which doctors will tell you there is no cure for a bleeding ulcer but yeah collagen is, and it takes years off your face. Putting it on topically really doesn't do anything you have to ingest it,, and historically we didn't just a lot of collagen it's found in bone broth and all sorts of other things that we don't really consume anymore so it's probably in your best interest to take your mom and your sisters advice. Hi Colette, so when we take collagen rich foods and/or supplements, the collagen molecules (which are big, that’s reason why creams with collagen are considered useless by many dermatologists, as they can’t penetrate the skin barrier), so collagen molecules are broken down to their building blocks, amino-acids, which are then used by the organism as it sees fit, which includes hair and skin. Many people have seen great results after consuming collagen. Noticeably so. I as a vegan can’t try, there are “collagen boost” mixes, that contain the building blocks of collagen + ingredients that stimulate its production. That’s what I need to try. MSM is very good for skin health as well.

i dont understand this obsession with removing a hood on the lid. its like everyone nowadays is paranoid about having any tiny hood to their eyes and getting it all removed. i think these hoodless eyes often look quite ugly, age badly, and make someones eyes appear bulbous and pro-tuding and can even age you and make your eyes look smaller. in the before/afters i always think the after often looks worse on the person who has had bleph and removed any hoods completely...even on mature individuals

Can anyone explain how the Bob Hope Ski slope nose became a much sought after look? I always thought the Plastic Surgeons were known to be artists. I would lay this at the door of the doctors. Are they unable to say to the clients, no this is a feature that will do you no good? Did the Doctors make that look trendy?

The shame flows the other way too where people who don't look done feel they're inadequate and unattractive. Plastic surgery has become a status symbol. The whole you ain't ugly just broke mentality reinforces ideas that you aren't good enough without surgery. This industry was meant to help burn survivors and the like, now it thrives on others' insecurity and mutilating them. My partner is a doctor and there's a certain predatory reputation that plastic surgeons specialising in cosmetic procedures have acquired and not without reason. We're flooded with media about the Golden ratio and perfect faces which are inevitably the result of interventions, usually these dubious studies cite plastic surgeons, it would be laughable were it not so toxic.

She has had absolutely great surgeries. I, for one, like her canthopexy(in conjunction with upper bletharoplasty) and buccal fat removal. The surgeries enhanced her natural features. While many people like her nose job, to my eye it is too extreme. I really have to wonder why the surgeon decided to lower the bridge so much while at the same time suture the tip cartilages in the 80's style? (I don't count dermal filler treatments in her case since they seem to be of synthetic nature and everyone has them now in any case. If she would have stem cell fat transfer that would be another issue.)

see this is why i don't like these types of videos. it makes people make all these assumptions about all those plastic surgeries that a celebrity supposedly got and they start thinking that everyone is getting plastic surgery and that it's completely normal and that their result will look just as good as these supposed plastic surgery results. you guys honestly have no idea about how people actually age.

@@Flugs0 I'm not sure what the point is here. I have had the exact same surgeries and more and can spot them a mile away. Enhancing yourself is completely fine. @@Flugs0I see it as the opposite. Obviously celebrities and public figures are the ones in the spotlight. So it's very easy to compare oneself to them. Without fully understanding that celebs don't even look like themselves lol! They had loads of help to get to this point and then they lie and deny it until they are blue in the face! What the commenter was saying is that it is very very common on public figures, and practically all of them have had something done. It sheds light on it and hopefully people will stop comparing themselves to a bought and paid for result. Of course natural beauty exists. Just not in the final results of fame.

I appreciate your ending comment. I know many of us (including myself) are exhausted from the pressures to meet the beauty standards, and celebs having extensive work done and telling you can do it naturally too if you buy their supplements. But, calling someone ugly because they’ve had plastic surgery isn’t any better than calling someone ugly for a feature they naturally have. Of course there are concerns with people who struggle with eating disorders or body dysmorphia being preyed upon by surgeons who will do as much work as asked as long as they’re getting paid. But, not everyone that has a cosmetic procedure done does so because they hate themselves or because they struggle with body dysmorphia. And if an adult chooses to have a procedure done to alter something that will make them feel better, I don’t see why they should get so much shame. I think Hailey Bieber’s work looks great. She looked just as beautiful before as she does now. And none of it really seems very extreme. She is still completely recognizable as herself.

I'm not a surgeon but I'd say that the point is to enhance the cheekbones and get rid of that round look of the face. So they remove that buccal fat which is in the lower part of cheeks and get fillers in the top parts, that makes them look sexy or expensive
