Continuing the hunt for the finest, coolest, and most rare retro games out there in Japan. This time I went to the HARD-OFF Kakuozan Store which is pretty much placed in the middle of Nagoya City.
We are looking at SEGA Saturn, SEGA Dreamcast, PC Engine, PS1, PS2, Famicom, Super Famicom, and so on. Enjoy!

I found Hard Off had a big range of games and that Book Off had a smaller range but was much cheaper. Great video as usual.

I've been to this Hard-Off! Back in early 2019, on my way back from the Toyota Automobile Museum, I stopped by this specific Hard-Off. I picked up a Rockman 3 CIB for $15 USD, and a small stack of PS1 JRPGs (such as Final Fantasy VII and VIII) for 100 Yen each. It wasn't the best Hard-Off I've been to, but it was still a fun detour.

Oh cool! And I was there in 2019 as well. Such a different store back then. Way more retro games. And I agree, it was never the best but something obviously happened now. Such a shame. But I guess its to be expected.

Yea Saturn is so underrated. Yea pronounced in a Swedish way lol Actually japanese pronounciation is kinda close to that too. I didnt figure out that game with the mask actually. I still wanna know what it is. Yea Rez is awesome. I have it. Haha thats crazy xD Yea those JRPGs are cool. I want those games in English so thats why I didnt bother much.

Hey m8 finally in japan been to a few hard offs and one over 1hr away did have consoles , handhelds. just games are vey low ??? And prices are a little hi but but super potato was out of this world expensive 😫 and not many games as well🤦‍♂️ few more days 😢 then fly back to uk 😢 i will be back 😊

I came expecting an opinion about buying at Hard Off, but found just a video browsing the stock at one location. Also, there's a lot of filler content on game footage instead of a discussion when whether it's still worth to go to a hard of store or go to a used game store.

It's an open question. Up for the viewer to decide. I just show around what's there. And my channel has always been that way. I do game hunting and pickups. And I enjoy doing these videos. But making a video discussing HARD OFFs is a great idea. That would be interesting to do as well.

Jo men precis, spel som Donkey Kong Country eller Mario Kart är massproducerade i ligger fortfarande väldigt lågt i pris. Men dom har full koll på titlar som är mer ovanliga. Tidigare har priserna legat under eBay-priser men de går sakta men säkert upp, år efter år.
