I recall Mr. Bergen with fondness. Your statement of celebrities being interned with objects associated with their popularity sounds it could be true. Rudy Valle with his megaphone, Jack Benny with his first earned dollar, Elvis Presley with his snear, John Wayne with a six-shooter, Paul Lind with a snappy remark (enjoyed him on Hollywood Squares 😆😃😄, Jesse Owns with his 1936 Olympic track shoes, Milton Beryl with a purloined joke and many other favorites.

Hey Steve, Glad to see that you were on my turf again. My grandmother is kitty-corner across the lake from Mr. Bergen. Did you notice that he changed his name? He's under the family name, "BERGREN." Thats his mother next to him. I have it on good authority that he was buried w/ Charlie's stand in dummy since the real Charlie went to the museum. No word if Mortimer Snerd (no rhyme intended) went w/ them also.

@TheGraveyardChannel another almost family member - there is a Civil War Medal Of Honor recipient buried about 300 years south Bergen, his name is George Myers. I have very limited knowledge of my dad's dude if the family. When tracking my dad's side if the family tree it came to a girl in the road. One way George, here, would've been my GG grandfather. The other way a dead end. I solo had my hopes up. But needless to say it dead ended. Oh well... But fun while it lasted.

One day I came up the steps and there stood Buffalo Bob. He looked at his watch then asked me “ do you know what time it is?” And I replied like from his show, “ it’s Howdy Doody time”.
