True story: I went to a psychic a few years ago. One of the things she said that knocked me clear over is that my Grandmother visits her gravesite fairly often - because she loves watching the trains. My grandmother died in 1937 of turburculosis. She is buried in the pauper section (they lost everything in the 1929 crash). My dad was only 7 when she died. For YEARS alls we knew was that she was buried in Riverside somewhere. An Ancestry search revealed her burial site. So I visited her grave around 2017 for the first time - and was probably the first one to do so since she died. It is only something like 50 feet away from the tracks. Amazing. When my finances are in order I intend to buy a marker for her grave.

I remember this case & all the crazy ex-girlfriend jokes made in the aftermath. I hate how some people say Jodi was justified because of how Travis treated her (nothing abusive, but he was allegedly stringing her along even when he didn't want to be serious with her). He wasn't a saint, but absolutely nothing he did justified being murdered.

This story was truly sad. I can't image getting in a shower and having a girl I was having an affair with would do what she did. It is very horrific. If you read the backstory on the relationship, it was a bad one from the beginning. On both sides. How we interact with someone should never be taken for granted.

I was practicing law in Phoenix at the time of the trial and you’re right, it was an ABSOLUTE circus. I knew all of the lawyers in the trial, and was a law school classmate of Jodi Arias’ female co-counsel (who’s a very nice person). Anyway, I’ve got a TON of stories about this particular case. I remember on the day of the verdict, someone dressed up in a full, pink bunny outfit with a sign that said “Verdict Bunny.” I still have that picture in my phone. Travis CERTAINLY didn’t deserve what he wound up getting, but the whole circus aspect of this case could’ve been avoided had the State NOT elected to try the case as a death penalty case.

Steve, here's a lead for you. Have you heard of Toni Grant? She was a very popular radio psychologist in the 80s + in SoCal. Buried in Desert Memorial Cathedral City. I don't know if she was syndicated nationwide but paved the road for followers like David Viscott and Barbara DeAngelis. Her grave may not be marked though.
@TheGraveyardChannel2 ай бұрын
Hi Bill, yes, I used to listen to all of them. My favorite was David Viscot and I even knew his producer. Sadly Toni Grant’s gravesite is still unmarked. Years ago someone, maybe it was you, left me a comment asking me to find her grave. I couldn’t find it so I asked the cemetery and they were nice enough to have someone come and show me the exact spot which was unmarked at the time. It’s right next to her dad‘s grave which is marked. Every time I visit the cemetery I checked to see if she has head stone yet. Sadly, it never does. 😢💙
