Every newf I have ever known was hard worker and hard drinker and most of them smoked like chimneys, being from Saskatchewan, we are the same, although I personally traded in the drinking for drugs, but that’s why they used to say The oilfield in Northern Alberta/Saskatchewan is the unofficial capital city of Newfoundland
