8balln8 killingu65 me purposely disagree. You can’t completely judge somebody from they past... everybody have did things that’s not right either big or small now I would agree if he failed but it looks like he’s changed for the better. That’s just like ppl that was addicts that cleansed themselves it’s ppl out here that use to be addicted to crack, meth Etc but they over come that and CHANGED so ppl do in deed have the power to change and do Right and repent for the sins they did.

8balln8 killingu65 because prison doesn't really rehabilitate people and don't care. Instead of providing counseling, classes, simulation of the real world etc. To help people fight their issues like with addiction or alcoholism etc., But rather make them do slave labor, fight each other, etc. It makes people into their crime and they never overcome it. Let alone they don't have any homes for these people to go into when they get out that would allow them to integrate into society gradually to get them used to society..but at the same time still have people there intervening in what problems there might be to give them the correct coping mechanisms, thought process, reactions, etc. To life's daily troubles and temptations. Some people will never change because it's something too deep in them. But a lot of people could change if they were given the proper help that prison should be giving to these people. It makes no sense to make them pay their time for the crime they committed where it's supposed to change them...but do nothing to actually make them change. This is one of the top reasons we need prison reform.

@whodoesntloveMikey4 жыл бұрын
Yeah. Some people do reform in prison and actually wake up to reality and balance things out, hes a great example. Fabulous man. Thank God we have the criminal justice reform now (although there are tragic events daily in so many diff ways, the world ain't perfect) but people like him are an inspiration. I hope we get more people like him coming out of prison, truly changed, to speak to the youth 💯💯💯
@soulsearch12344 жыл бұрын
Prison doesn't reform anyone. Its the people you meet and choose to take heed from that reforms you. That can happen anywhere and Steve was a heavy contributor to his reform.
@rogerroo3 жыл бұрын
@@soulsearch1234 I agree. My dad was thrown in a residential school and when that didn’t work they threw him in jail. It’s the only life he knows. He doesn’t know how to survive and function in the world. Jail isn’t reforming anyone. My dad literally has no chance in life with his record and it all started because they didn’t get him help he needed. Just tossed him in a cell.
@46goddess253 жыл бұрын
@@rogerroo I'm sorry that happened to your dad.... that truly sucks. I honestly hope that someone like Steve crosses his path sometime in his life to help guide and mentor him. Even grown adults need mentoring, and there's no shame in that. It's all about accepting any positive help you can get from genuine people, because there aren't much genuine people with positive intentions out there, now... either that, or they're hiding. But they ARE out there. But, still, no matter how much one tries to help, it's ultimately up to the individual to accept and take in any advice given. Then, and only then, could any positive change come about. I hope this helps. :) P.S: The justice system is a total farce and needs a complete overhaul. Too many people are lost away in the system, then are stigmatised after they are released (any crime against children, rape of males/females or cold blooded murder are not included..... yeah..... keep your distance from those people). But one can only attempt to change for the better if they, themselves, make a conscious decision to do so.

8balln8 killingu65 he went to prison. He has changed his life around. You don't think he carries the pain of his past with him every day, knowing that he was a monster when he was dealing with drugs that lead to heartache of others? That lead to death of a person? He deserved the hate when he was doing it, he deserved to be in prison. But we should be celebrating people learning and doing their time. We should be proud of someone who has changed and takes accountability for their actions. If he isn't doing it, he doesn't deserve hate. We all, and him included, agree what he did was immoral, disgusting, and evil. That does not mean that he is that person, he's changed and has learned. That's what prison is meant for. It's supposed to make people pay their time for their crime so that they learn that they did wrong and never do it again. What's the point of not having people stay in for life if they are going to be disrespected after serving their time and changing their ways?

It is truly awesome to see a person turn their life around. Despite how long they've been living life the wrong way, or how deep they got themselves into a bad situation. Sometimes all it takes is the right person to say the right thing at the right time for them to really understand that a change must be made at that exact moment in their life, or it could be too late. When that Individual decides to make that change, that very moment will be their most powerful decision.
