I saw the episode today and it is sad, to the the least, on his behalf. Growing up in foster care until he ran away when he was teenager, this was the only person that he really saw as family and trusted. So I get wanting to belong to someone or something and having a sense of purpose in life. But he is definitely not deserving of the abuse that she puts him through. And whatever bags she has in her life, why put that burden and insecurity on him. I do truthfully hope that if her behavior hasn't changed after this show, that he finds/found someone that would treat him like the man and devoted father that he truly his.

When it comes to people past, I believe that the past doesn't dictate a person's future but molds them for a better future. With his past, he wants to make sure that doesn't happen again and that is understandable and should not be under minded. It seemed like she just thought of these accusations out of thin air and decided to run with them. There was no concrete proof for any of the accusations to be questioned. Then there is the fact she is the aggressor in the case of domestic violence in the relationship, and then has the nerve to say he does it, too, to take focus off of her. But is the same person that hit him with a car. She has too many issues to count just but looking at this episode. I'm not saying he doesn't have his faults but anybody that constantly puts up with people like her and still be loving are very much deserving of better.

Being a survivor of sexual abuse myself, I know the paranoia that can cause when you become a mother. Maybe she was a victim too. When that happens to you as a child, you become fiercely overprotective of your children. He is a victim in his own way from his childhood. There may be reason they are fucked up in the head... like possibly she was abused by someone she trusted as a child. I was, and it prevents me from trusting anyone with my child. I trust my mil, my bf (although I don’t like him being alone with her for long because he has a problem with always being on his phone and it annoys me) and my sil. I don’t trust, daycares, baby sitters, my family/friends, or even schools. I’m not sure how I’m going to do with her going to school when she turns 4. I allow her to socialize with many different people (we are going to groups etc) but I just can’t trust her with strangers. Man or women. Which I think is pretty rational. Sometimes I do have crazy thoughts but I just need to reassure my self that I can be hyper sensitive sometimes.

Crypt I mean my mother in law (mil) and sister in law (sil). I trust them because they have made an effort in my daughters life and are there for us when we need (for the most part, they have their own life too of course and can’t always be there). Unfortunately I don’t trust my mother or father to watch my baby and my mother doesn’t like that. I tried explaining to her that the reason is because she knew the man she was sending me to was a pedophile but just ignored all the signs I was being abused (or genuinely was blind to them). He was her ex and had previous accusations of molesting his daughter and another girl. Now I have a hard time trusting anyone. Not only am I fearful of her being abused the way I was, but also neglected/beaten. I know what people are capable of so I stick with the people I do trust. Even then I struggle with allowing them to watch her. It’s definitely better then when she first was born. I wouldn’t allow anyone really to hold/touch her.

It’s so wrong. My mother will say things like “I tried, at least you weren’t kicked out at 14. I loved you and kept a roof over your head. I had it so much worse then you... my past is why I am like I am” which although it may be true I feel like she says those things to make me feel guilty/excuse what happened to me. I can never get a sorry that she wasn’t emotionally available to me as a child. Only excuses from her past. It’s unfortunate. From the age 6+ I spent more time with other than my family. I pretty well lived with my one neighbour. she wanted him to fail. thats why she cried when he passed. she knew he didnt do anything wrong and made the whole thing up. jumping to conclusions is not healthy. she had absolutely no proof he did anything wrong just speculations.like "are you sleeping" he asked that so he can molest an infant with the sleeping mother in the bed beside him. really? who does that? who would risk molesting a child with someone in the bed with them? especially when she answered him.
