The song was a sad song when written. It was a dirge, slow. I think during therapy he recognized that the the song was a step in his journey toward better mental health and I think with that perspective the music got happy and he reframed the song as a metamorphosis in the video… because the ending (the place he’s gotten to) has been happy.

harry's music is VERY diverse in sound like he has some rock songs and such, this song did make history on the hot 100 though and he did just win album of the year!! also this song was before him and olivia split, he wrote it during the pandemic "in this world it's just us you know it's not the same as it was"

Breakup with Olivia came after this song by a long while. I think all of Harry’s House is his continuing journey in growing up and self acceptance (continuing what he was discovering in Fine Line) after getting involved in therapy during the pandemic. He certainly revisits his childhood trauma to do this (his parents divorce)-I think that’s the point of what he’s wearing on the cover of Harry’s House. It’s why he tells us to love ourselves first in Matilda. He’s learning to accept and love himself and not be a satellite around others (as much as people might enjoy the song Satellite, I think Harry would advise them not to be that way).
