This was the very first ever live version of the song…the aborted Rock n Roll Circus. Dec 12, 1969. They went last and were exhausted. The album that this song is on, Let It Bleed, came out one year later

The album version incorporates the London Bach CHOIR!! This song is from the same 1969 album that includes Gimme Shelter. Let It Bleed

This video is a clip from a film called Rolling Stones Rock-N-Roll Circus. Highly recommend anyone you sees this video to check out that movie. Its on one of the streaming services. It has a lot of bands that the Stones invited to play. And of course the Stones bat clean up. And well, a lot of these bands like The Who and Jethro Tull are very good. But, it's apparent when the Stones play how much better they are as a band. And I really love The Who, so it was hard to admit at first, but this is the film that made me realize the Rolling Stones are the top of the heap when the film was made.

And they still rocking into their 60s and 70s. They basicly followed the Beatles across the pond and became the bad boys of rock.

Gotta remember the era this was made. It was freaky times then from what I have read and heard. I was born in '74 so I was baby. Sixties sounds like it would've been fun.

The fact that Mick Jagger can still “freak you out a little bit” 53 years after this was recorded is a tribute to him and this amazing performance. “A little off”?

I just seen John Lennon at end. The Beatles and Stones hung out quite a bit. Try this one cuz Stones are quite famous - Waiting on a Friend and She's A Rainbow. Mick Jagger is wild, all the women loved him, probably some guys too LOL

Listen to the album version. Quite different.

No. The Rolling Stones came around 1964, the same year as The Beatles. Only difference is, The Stones are Still A Band. Yes, even at the average age of 79 they all still perform as The Rolling Stones. From the original, one died, one retired, one's a replacement but they're still The Stones. And the Magazine stole the name from Bob Dylan's song " Like A Rolling Stone" which you should check out. Voted "The Greatest Rock and Roll Song of All Time"! 🤔😎

Yeah, a couple of great album cuts would change your mind. Gimme Shelter, Can’t You Hear Me Knocking, Dead Flowers, Sympathy for the Devil, Brown Sugar...any of those will do.

Love the song. Never seen the video. Love that Mick is so into it. But I cant help but think that he looks pretty goofy the way he's moving around.

Mick Jagger the lead singer has always been very "animated" in his dancing and movements. He was not gay by any means, quite the womanizer actually. He didn't give a damn about race, he loves all Women. Listen to "Some Girls" and you'll understand. 🤔😎

The studio version of this song is much, much better. This was not The Stones at their best. Don't give up on them. Try their epic song "Gimme Shelter" ( studio version).

You think my man's gay? He loves Black women! He's a showman. The band can't believe the shit he does. He doesn't care what anyone thinks. He's from England they are my expressive. It wouldn't surprise me if he's bi. Like David Bowie, they have girlfriends and kids, but they were wild

This was probably the worst possible introduction to this band. Wasn’t a concert really...just kinda playing around after a good long time of boozing and drugs at a special event.. The Rolling Stones were one of the two biggest bands at the beginning of the British Invasion in the mid sixties. They were the “bad boys” and The Beatles were the family friendly band (at least in the beginning). They are the longest running band ever...over 55 years and still perform in their seventies. Mick Jagger is one of the most animated front men in rock history. He’s up there with Robert Plant and Freddie Mercury as far as capturing a huge audience. That energy he had he still has...and that band filled allot of stadiums over the decades. Mick Jagger based allot of his stage persona on the black blues/rock and roll icon James Brown. If you are not familiar with James Brown, look at a couple of his performances on KZbin and you will see the similarities. The Rolling Stones are considered probably the truest actual “rock and roll” band......not ROCK band....but “Rock and Roll” band...and yeah there’s a big difference. Another rock and roll band with a similar vibe and energy is AC/DC if you know them. To give you a MUCH better idea of this band and why it has been successful for over half a century and the energy of their live performances, I would suggest you take a look at this clip from a concert in Buenos Aires. Song is Jumpin’ Jack Flash. kzbin.info/www/bejne/joLFppujYreFm7M

Hahahahahaha 😂😂😂😂 Great review 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 And yeah, Mick Jagger is a ... ummm ... yeah ... hahaha He always freaked me out!!! I like the studio version of this song much better. Actually, anytime I can listen to the Stones and not have to see Jagger flopping around is a plus for me 🤦♀️😂😂😂 They have a few that are decent, I was never a big fan though. And no, they are not associated with the magazine. This was hilarious though!!! Your face ... my thoughts exactly!!! 😂😂😂 Take care & stay safe fam 💞

Hun, all you need to know is The Beatles and The Rolling Stones influenced popular music as we know it! Have you heard the song "Moves like Jagger?" Well... Mick's moves have influenced many male artists moves.. These were the 60s where everything went down.
