The big myth swallowed by students regarding college is the idea that students attend college in order to get a good job. That's completely false!!! Students do not attend college to get a good job. Students attend college with the purpose of earning a diploma, not a job. Somehow the schools have brainwashed students into thinking a diploma = job when there is no reasonable promise that a diploma = job. A diploma is simply a piece of paper. Yes the diploma is "supposed" to help the students gain employment but there is certainly no way to know if a degree will pay off. The best way to deal with college is pay cash and understand that a diploma is a piece of paper and in the jungle of life we all know what we can do with a piece of paper when attempting to survive in the wilderness.
