Is HYPERIA getting a BACKWARDS SEAT?

I think Mack have done the g force calculations for backward and spinning seats. The calculations show the forces to be unreasonable.

@OllieCoaster Personally, I think motion sickness is a big issue with backward seats. The experience should be comfortable and enjoyable for the vast majority. They may do it for one season as a gimmick in a few years time (like with Swarm).

I have heard Merlin Entertainment does not want any coasters with backwards seats after the incident on Smiler at Alton Towers which was the cause of Swarm having it's backward seats removed.

@@OllieCoaster It was just as a precaution on swarm as if trains did collide and there where backwards facing seats it could seriously injure the riders even though it would never really happen.

@@typicaluser4116 they changed the seats back due to complaints that people wanted to ride the back row but didn’t want to ride it backwards because they wanted to see the near miss elements aswell

With so much demand for this coaster in this current form, there is zero point in doing this next season. If it ever gets done (and it's a big 'if' considering the compromise on capacity / additional infrastructure in terms of queueing & maybe upcharge tickets needed to implement it), it'll be a few years down the line. No chance for 2025.

They would never. The capacity is already awful and they wouldn’t waste 2 rows for a back seat. They did an awful job with the brake run and if they were smart they wouldn’t have been limited to 2 trains.

Ok well you can think what you think and it looks like I can’t change that but no, I don’t, or try not to do clickbait. I do put questions in the title of my videos because it helps although my purpose isn’t clickbait. Normally my videos are just full of me talking rubbish anyway but yeah I make them for fun, not for revenue as I know my videos are highly unlikely to ever get enough traction for money, they’re too weird 🤣 but yeah I do it for fun (sorry for the essay btw)
