Skyblock is barley ptw. I have spent 7 dollars on vip and am enjoying my experience well. I’ve played Roblox for 4 years before and I ended up spending $40 for a all around terrible experience. I personally don’t use fast travel as portal hub is free. Maintenance is an issue I am not ok with but is understandable as to why it exsists as hypickle cannot fit so many ppl into one game.

The p2w part about this update is that the scroll to the drags nest allows you to leech a sup drag even if the gate is closed. So, if you do decent damage that’s an easy sup boots which is like 11 mil. And you can leech drags more than once so even more money. So, that 30 bucks you pay for mvp+ can let you have a good chance of getting more sb coin. Just to clarify I myself am a mvp++ so I can use scrolls

You can get to the caves by the back cave entrance which is always open so no need to use any glitch nor a super tnt to go through. In that case the warp saves you just the time spend running from hub to graveyard. So it's as useful as the castle warp for mvp+ and not really more than that. On the other side sure, the dragon nest one is a bit gray zone not only because you can get faster to golem but also because you can avoid a closed gate if dragon is summoned and you ain't inside.

When this update launched, I thought the normal scrolls we all get were essentially useless, and the Epic (MVP+) scrolls would be abusable and would make things harder for more beginner players. The ones for Magma Boss, Dragons Den, and Dark Auction seemed like they'd make High Level players be able to dominate those things even more and it'd be harder for the lower end. I don't care that the feature is for MVP+, I just care that it might make things harder for newer players. This is from the perspective of a VIP Rank who's only played the game for a month or two, so take of that what you will. Also the update is new, so I'm willing and hoping what I say is wrong.

The only thing i have a problem with is if a player that doesnt have MVP+ does drags and get the tp to the drag nest scroll, they cant use it, that couldve been an AOTD or a drag pet. the scroll will go down in price as MVP+'s dont make up the majority of the player base and therefore there will be very little demand

I think ppl r forgetting how much work it takes to run a server as big is this. They require helpers and admins, some who don’t get payed, they have to pay for the server to be able to fit the thousands of players. Putting that all together they might be losing money.

I'm MVP and I think this update is mostly fine, but I'm concerned about the precedent that this might set when the admins consider future updates. I played RuneScape for 15 years before quitting because of updates where players could pay real-life money for in-game benefits, but it didn't happen all at once; it was a gradual buildup with initially only cosmetic items being sold, then tiny amounts of experience points, then eventually hundreds of millions of coins and millions of experience points. I'm incredibly cautious about this skyblock update, and while I have hope that the admins will learn from other games' mistakes, it's hard to draw a line of when enough is enough.

technically if you have 30 seconds before the magma boss and you're mvp or below you have to go then whereas if you are mvp+ or ++ you can go 20 seconds later which gives you 20 seconds more grind time if you're spruce farming thats like 500 coins if this happens once every 4 hours for 3 months thats an extra 1890000 coins just bc of a mvp+ perk.

It doesnt matter that its only a slight convenience. It still gives a competitive advantage for paying that players that havnt payed dont get the advantage. It is pay to win by definition. Plus theres other things that are pay to win. The quick crafting is also pay to win a little bit. The biggest pay to win of all time however is being able to play the game while its updating. This lets players that have a rank get millions from flipping stuff in bazaar during this time that nons cant abuse
