Its even hard to complete the full podcast, I completed it in 3 sittings. And the way Scaler solved this problem is very good that traditional colleges failed. And a big thanks to you Varun for bringing this industry insights from the good and succeeded entrepreneurs and business leaders.

How come Scalar is edu tech? What technical do they do?

How ignorant can a person be? An Edtech is basically a company that provides education through technology. Byjus, physicswallah ,scaler etc are all Edtech. They teach students through technology (online classes, courses etc) using videos, apps, e-materials etc..
@NoOne-ou2bx
@NoOne-ou2bx 8 ай бұрын
@@RJD-vm6pz movies are delivered digitally now... would it make the movie production houses tech companies? At least Coursera is a course marketplace the so called edtech companies you mentioned are more of a course making companies aren't they.. Now calling someone ignorant if you don't agree with them, not cool... @pratap The usage of word edtech has become so prevalent that edtech doesn't imply being a tech company, you can stop looking for tech in edutech companies ;)

I think it just doesn't matter anymore lol, also depends on which college But if you think that your college will end up useless, and that you can learn real skills instead, you would want to take like the easiest course so you have time to do other things (definitely not professional reply)

Google is exception where the founders didn’t want to do 10-100. In Ubers case Travis was very willing but was pushed out. Let’s look at the rest Microsoft - Bill Gates retired after growing it to the most valuable company Apple - Jobs died Elon, Zuck, Jensen are all founders still leading the companies.

Educational institutions should shape the industry, and in turn, the industry should help restructure curricula. Innovation requires research, which might not always be profitable for the industry to invest in. We should not undermine other streams of engineering. Just because software coding is prevalent in this era doesn't mean we should drop the basic engineering sciences. Success and money can lead people to undermine other areas and become overconfident. Studying in IITs is totally different experience you get to study engineering sciences,humanities,management,value education. Making chisel in workshop gives you different aspects of engineering.

23:05 I don't agree to that completely, a good education system's purpose is to create that vacuum or that hunger/ curosity in ones mind to learn something, and not just do that thing to get a certification. I have taken enough online courses of these so called "future of education" companies and according to me these type of learning must not become our future.

One of the rare examples where an insecure spouse innovated and improved for better .. good going Varun M...bt i wud still suggest don't be insecure of your wife's success... Bless both of you ❤❤❤

It should not comment on unemployment you even do not know the definition of unemployment . You are understanding of societal issues is so much flawed . You think that success and one area translate to other , your ideas and concepts outside tech are b******* . You should stick to the game you are good at
