I ran this build on season 1, I used COH and Kira's and just dealt with the lack of mobility by having a harmony on weapon switch. Had a few people try to PK me in pub games and I demolished them lol. After season 2 I'm thinking about trying to find 20-20 fhr armor to see if the extra damage is worth the loss of tankiness.

@@dartlingaming no, I was running an insight Merc. I found that the endless mana pool was more beneficial to my playstyle than the next frame rate from fanaticism. +2 jav skill exceptional poke stick, I don't recall the name ATM, but the quicker base of the two options.

This is my fave build. I have a near perfect Tstrike/Dtail Lightning-sin...~70k kick and 7k Traps...and a tank. But takes a while to master gameplay...like when should you Dtail or trap - but always fast and fun :)

Absolutely best character besides paladin and sorc, but then Barb is awesome too, Necro is amazing with enigma tho and assassin is godly now and druid has at least 3 builds that can farm end game... Truly just rly good game design

It's pretty nice but arguably even the +3 skills isn't worth the diff in speed from using a mancatcher infinity instead (it also goes well on a Merc even if non eth because of how fast it applies crushing blow to bosses)

Conviction aura from infinity: now you can self wield it and get additional -45-55 enemy lightning res and be even more op on charged strike 😎 also +3 jav skills on the base from a matriarchal pike or matriarchal spear after a patch that dropped during d2r

If you're an experienced game player you should be able to recognize a good healthy power climb when you see it...Diablo 1 and 2 nailed it.. Diablo 3 when it first launched had this but that all went south when the developers adandoned or fired the guy in the math department.. now its just a chaotic mess

It'll open up the value market for old non ladder d2 players for dueling community saying they have a pre 2.7 enigma and all post enigmas loses value. Actually would made dueling very interesting if it was charges as enigma as you couldn't willy nilly teleport around too much anymore.

If you can kit out the godly skillers with life, Melee Sorc beats this buy a lot. mine has 275k dps but you can hit like 330k with perfected gear

yes. The main issue with a really good melee sorc is you either go so much dex it hurts your life and thus can still get one shot, so you need amazing charms, or you need the godly orb or memory to prebuff ES.

@@jeremiasgigantor9064 Well that depends on what you mean. Damage per Second and Damage dealt aren't really the same thing. The in game character screen shows sorc at 20-80k damage per hit. Zeal does that damage each hit, multiple times a second. Setting aside variance, That's easily over 250k. But those numbers are against the target dummy. The same one d2planner uses to calculate a DPS figure. So in effect no, a melee sorceress has never DEALT 250k dps because enemies have resistances and armor etc. But if you are comparing the damage of one build to another in terms of raw DPS, the target dummy is the best thing to use. You can make a perfected melee sorceress that will hit 330k DPS against the target dummy. If you are trying to say you will never actually deal that much then sure, but thats not really the question at hand. My sorceress is at 18k-75k per hit, lvl 54 enchant, zeal 3.3 hits per second, then add on top the pulse of dream and thunderstorm.

I have a Sorceress and an Amazon. I have the runes for an infinity but didn't decided wich base i should use and if the infinity should be used by the character itself or if the mercenary should use it. My sorc is currently using sunder, -35% lightning res sword (moonsomething), spirit, griffon, lite GCs etc. There's any base that fit a sorc and an amazon? Or even a merc at the same time? What you folks recommend? Thanks!

I would make it for merc and just switch it out depending on what character you’re using. Reason being is that I don’t think sorc and Amazon could use the same infinity and it be optimal for both.

They hit harder if you don't factor like 10 diff bolts hitting from the charged strike shotgunning the enemy combined with -res... That said amp damage when it hits right combined with crushing blow etc is NASTY

Ive been switching a few pieces around esp after last season ended and getting a sundering charm I feel like I don't even need the infinity Merc on here anymore at all because lightning immunes are so low hp compared to fire immunes who infinity seems to benefit more
