We have to come back to this comment once a year to see if you still have it. Tbh I felt the same I had a 12 mini but I upgraded to a 15 pro because I was having camera issues and storage was limiting for me on 12 mini. It doesn’t feel too big. Edit: I still do miss the smaller size and I wish there was a compromise size between this phone and the mini size. Because I did want a larger phone than the mini but I would prefer a smaller size than the iPhone 15 or 15 pro 6.1 inch maybe like 5.8 or 5.9 inch would be perfect.

@@marcusellby ehh, Apple phones historically last longer than their android counterparts. So if anything longevity wise your phone will last longer than most phones out there. Although some of the newest android phones promise 7 years of software support. Apple has been doing 6-8 years. The 13 mini will reportedly get updates until 2028. Your biggest Issue overtime will be the battery life. But you can get that fixed for $90. If you really need to change phones in the future Some android phone will probably be your best bet. But small android phones is a dying market as well. The asus zen fone (one of the best small phones on the market) is still yet to see its new compact design update, and many wonder weather it will even be released. If you want to save the future of compact phones I suggest supporting the phone manufacturers that are still producing them otherwise the segment will die (if it’s not already) and only big phones will exist in the future when you really have to upgrade your phone. I got a Oneplus 12, and one of the features it has that I didn't know about until after I bought it was an IR Blaster. I love that function. Doesn't get used a ton, but when it is needed, it's so handy! Had it last on my LG G3 and G4, and I've always missed it.

Speaking as someone who switched from android to iphone last year, i REALLY hope they don't get rid of face id in favour of fp sensors its one of the things i thought I'd hate but ended up loving. FP sensor on samsungs have become complete trash ever since they moved to the under display ones.

Honestly at this point with these miniscule iterative changes, they're just creating e-waste. Since phones have basically already peaked, wouldn't it be better to switch product cycles to a new release every couple of years or every three-to-four years so people actually get more use out of the phone before "upgrading" it to the next model and sending their current, still perfectly fine, model to the landfill?? A longer product cycle would also mean each new update could actually bring back decent enough bumps in performance and tech to be WORTH a newer model in the first place. They could instead use the extra time to better perfect the software side of things - iron out all the issues people commonly have a problem with, get the OS operating as smoothly and bug-free as humanly possible. Or even work on producing their own new apps for things people have wanted for a long time now.

Even though I enjoy the super long battery life on the 15 Plus, I do notice 60hz when navigating. I am more hyped for the 16 Pro than any other iPhone in my experience. I also missed having a 3rd camera lens coming from a Pixel 6 Pro.

I have the 13 and it’s battery health is at 75% so if I have the money when the 16 comes out and if it actually has (the bigger battery, thinner bezel,bigger screen, Qualcomm x75 5g chip, wifi 7 and the other stuff I’m forgetting) I’ll be highly considering it as my phone works fine technically however with 75% battery health it’s annoying having to recharge it so much and I don’t want to replace the battery unless it’s absolutely necessary but if the 16 doesn’t actually have that stuff I’ll probably suck it up and replace my battery to get back the capacity it had when I first got it

KZbinrs play certain features down because they dont pertain to them. I work outside on card readers and avi readers. That extra brightness is amazing when im working in an area with absolutely no shade. Also i love that the phone is getting bigger. These guys sit in a studio or office all day. They review tech like its a toy or for photo/video editing.
